Failed Cashback
Applied in August 2024. Chased missing Cashback tracking immediately. Constant chasing received holding replies. 3 months after the purchase received a final response which makes little sense "We have now received a final response for your claim and been informed that we haven’t been seen as the reason this order was placed. This means we have been unable to obtain any money back on your behalf." Looking back at the reviews for DFDS from late August 2023 onwards 17 of 21 reviews are 1 Star and complaining about failed Cashback. Not a good track record!

Difficult, but succeeded eventually
I used the TOPCASHBACK Icon - when accessing DFDS Seaways site - to activate. It took quite a number of attempts to get the activation completed and be able to progress through the purchase, due to website closing down often. Eventually succeeded, but waiting the requisite number of weeks to see if these are credited to my account.

Same Old Problem
Carried out all the usual precautions, but claim rejected without explanation, earlier this summer. Second booking for November, again rejected without explanation within a few days. Why is this company still listed, in view of review history?

Quick cashback

Different Browser, cleared cache, still didn't track
After being refused cash back before. This time I made special effort to clear cache, cookies and book from a different browser and still they claim they couldn't track. A retailer can't offer a sale price and refuse it at the till, why can DFDS do that?

Not Good
Twice I have tried to get cashback. First time they just never responded to a claim, second time they declined without a reason as I could prove that Topcashback was the last referrer. Only through perseverance and goodwill from Topcashback did I get my cashback. Very dishonest company when it comes to cashback

Stupid website doesn't have an option to buy a ticket!
After several minutes looking on the website I couldn't find how to buy a ticket. Either the website is broken or it was designed by a complete moron.

Dishonest
Made a purchase over £600. Due to website's technical issue I was unable to add a pet so I contacted DFDS immediately to add pet fare. Since my booking was "amended" DFDS declined Cashback.

First, When I bought tickets through TopCashback with DFDS, did not track. So I had to put a claim- and now declined as they didn’t recognise I did it through TopCashback???? Come one… excuses not to pay Would not recommend!

Fully valid purchase made which tracked fine and then got declined. Submitted a ticket and got told it was decelined without reason and got the same response when I challenged it. Travelled Aug 23. Wont use them again. From experience Quidco cashback tracks alot more regularily than Topcashback even though the rates are less.

This supplier will not pay out cashback!!! Opt for a different provider.
This is the second time this provider has declined a perfectly valid cashback request. Each time I purchase my tickets, the investment that I make is above £150, so the cashback is quite important to justify the investment, otherwise I would simply choose a different provider. This is quite disappointing, and it is surprising that TCB allows them to continue to advertised their business when they do not any intention of paying up the cashback that is owed. I am very disappointed at this extremely unfair situation.

As other users report, they refused to pay what they promised. Never thought such an international company would act like a pirate. The excuse this time is "they cannot prove that this has been the result of a TopCashback referral." Shameless.

Didn't pay
As a ferry company, they're solid. But having followed their guidelines to the letter - cleared cookies, clicked through, completed transaction all in one browser session - no cashback tracked. When they reviewed the missing cashback submission, they declined as "retailer guidelines not followed". Looks more like trying to get out of paying 4% of a hefty booking. A reminder always to see cashback as a bonus if it comes through, and not deciding which retailers to use based on the cashback. So all good, but just disappointed.
