EDF Reviews

While some members who chose EDF to be their energy supplier have reported issues with their cashback, many members have left positive EDF Energy reviews, with some saying theirs was paid out faster than expected. Comments include “good cashback rate for switch over — two to three months to pay out” and “brilliant. Saved on dual fuel and cashback showed within five hours”.

Our members seem to love the company too. One said: “EDF have been very efficient and helpful in setting up my account and dealing with any queries or problems I have had.” Others praised the fact their site is easy to use and the switching process not confusing at all. cashback tracked, but EDF haven't impressed me. Terribly slow to transfer my energy. Gave me transfer date; told me gas had started; so I cancelled my existing supply direct debit - only to discover they hadn't transferred. me. Took 7 days to respond to an email. After several complaints - still waiting to get my gas (nearly 9 weeks)- but they have offered me £20 goodwill for the problems (and the extra money I have to pay on a temporary higher tariff with existing supplier)

despite signing in and testing tracking this dualfuel switch did not track missing claim took 3 weeks but at last it has appeared, time will tell when i will get payment.

i had to make a claim for the cashback from edf. This has appeared on the website now as pending, but the date is saying payable now???

Having two dates for payment for electricity and gas is not the same as Scottish power was and as such makes it odd. I also had to remind them i wanted to add a meter reading for gas and that took another 2 weeks after change over date but time will tell if better customer elations ( not being racist at least there is no scottish accent not easy when you are deaf)

Did not track - submitted enquiry - 6 weeks later i got the cashback though :) - seems as though the cashback would not track until i paid the first direct debit payment with EDF Energy..

Quick to track and confirmed almost as soon as the gas transferred. (Did a dual swap and the electricity transferred much quicker than the gas). Not cleared for cashing in quite yet though

Has been confirmed now for a month or so, no sign yet of the actual cold hard cash. My supply transferred a month ago now, so it's about time they sent the funds. No problems with tracking or anything, just slow to pay out.
