EE Mobile Contracts Reviews

Customers appreciate the quick delivery and easy to use website when purchasing an EE mobile contract, judging by some of the reviews left by our members. One person who provided positive feedback was clearly impressed, saying “great network service. Great value and cashback to boot”, while another praised the good SIM-only deal they received.

As far as getting their cashback is concerned, some of our members say it “tracked immediately” or had been “paid within the time stated”, while another delighted customer praises the fact it was a smooth transaction.

Although only boasting a one-star rating on Trustpilot, you will discover positive feedback from customers happy with the fact EE have a UK call centre, impressed with their professional and courteous staff who provide first-class customer service and the fact they are quick to sort out problems.

Someone advises that if you have issues with paying your bill, EE will try and help you the best they can, while another says their network coverage beats all the other rivals they have tried. “Has provided a consistently good service. Been with them for over three years” is one of the comments left by a regular EE customer.

I upgraded my contract and the order was tracked however I had to phone EE to complete it so thought I had been scammed like the other reviews. I'm happy to advise that the cashback has come through and money received. It took just over 2 months.

So far so good! I took out an I Phone 6 contract and the 57 Pounds cashback tracked within minutes, so a good start.. I will update on its progress in light of all the bad reviews recently.

This was my second cashback with EE, unlike the first which i had to get tcb involved to do a manual claim to get my casback. This one tracked no problem but did take longer to pay out than expected, 20 weeks than the 10 week average.Still well happy as my 2 orders were referrals like everybody else.

I was also done by the EE scam, asked to call back to complete the transaction and then cashback denied. Chased via TCB but EE refused the claim saying in this case it had been referred from another site. This is incorrect as I keep a separate browser program on my computer that I only use for TCB transactions, clearing all cookies and history prior to using. The EE cashback is a scam and TCB should do something about it instead of promoting the merchant

See; http://www.topcashback.co.uk/Help/165 "There can sometimes be occasions where a member cannot complete their transaction wholly and immediately on line for various reasons. Unfortunately in these situations, due to the nature of tracking procedures, your transaction will not be eligible for cashback." So if they ask you to phone then no cashback.

Same as everyone else - I had to call EE to confirm my order. But just to give you all some reassurance, my order was tracked and is now confirmed after 2 weeks. Looking forward to £99.75 becoming payable. I had a total nightmare as I had to wait 2 weeks for a sim card, but that's another story and I have not been impressed by their customer services so far. However I get good reception/service in my area, so all is good.

Purchased in March, no cashback, filed a ticket and now 4 months later it is declined giving no reason. Got to be because of the "Must be completed wholly online" and EE say they will call to complete the purchase. They never did for me, perhaps thats why? Anyway, poor cashback experience, but the product has been fine :)

I signed up for a contract £47+ a month with an iphone 5s. Should have got £70+ cashback according to their offer but the transaction was never tracked. I opened a missing claim back in January 2014. Have chased a few times but only got a reply today saying that my claim had been declined. What a waste of time. I only got the contract because of the cashback offer. I would have been better off going in store like I usually do to just renew my old contract rather than take a new contract out. They subsequently didn't bill me for 3 months then set me a final reminder letter chasing the payment for 3 months. When enquiring it seems they had an 'admin' problem.

A lot of reviews mention when placing orders with EE that they have to phone to complete there order. Same sort of thing happened to me, I placed order online and got a email saying order pending and had to phone them for further detail. As it was late I did not bother to phone them but next morning they phoned to ask security questions, I might be one of he lucky ones but my cashback seems to be going ok, When I ordered it said upto £57, But after after order was placed and got tracked it said pending £30 something, This changed the other day to confirmed (about 2 months) and they amount has changed also to £57 so big :-) Hopefully not long till its payable.

Completed order for sim only contract and it indicated an order ref and a number to contact to provide further information. The agent had all my information and indicated I needed to call for security purposes. I did not provide any additional information other than confirm my order. The order never tracked. It would appear that EE are finishing orders with this 'contact sales' message to avoid having to pay out the affiliate fee as the T&Cs state orders must be raised 'wholly online'. Having discovered these reviews and a TCB forum thread on this matter I intend on cancelling the contact one it arrives. The contact is poor value without the cashback. Poor experience and lost sale for EE. I would have expected TCB to raise this 'wholly online' issue with EEs order process, but as yet they have failed to do so.

Looks like I've also been a victim of the EE Cashback SCAM!! My order got referred & was told to telephone them. Apparently it got referred as they tried to do a credit check by taking £2 from my credit card & then paying it back to my credit card, I was told to contact my bank as it had been rejected. My bank said that no attempt had been made to take the £2 from my credit card & wasn't rejected?? I called EE back & was asked if I had a debit card to use for this this credit check, guess what it worked no problem over the telephone!! TOPCASHBACK please investigate this EE SCAM!!

Another referral. Nothing tracked. Whole process was done, as Im sure everyone elses was, completely online except for the phone call due to the referral. Apparently all iPhone purchases are being referred. So impossible to get cashback if that information I was given was correct.

After several years of using TopCashback, with just over £1500 received, the only two companies that I've had problems with are Orange and EE. With regard to EE, I'd like to reiterate the gist of the comments below. I signed myself, my wife, and my mother up for an EE iPhone 5C contract. £18.99 per month. £110 phone cost. £107 cash back. In all three cases, the decision 'was referred'. In all three cases, the decision was approved within 24 hours. A similar scenario happened with Orange two years ago. I know cash back should not be expected. It makes me cross that I get emails from TopCashback saying '£107 cash back with EE' though. Lesson learned. And I won't be factoring in EE/Orange cash back in future purchases.

Bought a payg phone in january 2014 and sadly the £30.30 never tracked so made a missing cashback claim last month which confirmed the amount.Today the £30.30 became payable which surprised me as i wasnt expecting anything after reading the reviews on here.Probably the quickest payment ive ever received, top marks for TCB and EE.

i bought a years broadband and phone contract late 2012 when it was orange but changing to EE never got me cash back If you get a contract be very careful about giving them a months notice ! they strung me out for another 2 months before i could get rid of them, as they wont or didnt except emails or online confirmation of intention to quit

You can't complete your order wholly online so you will always be refused your cashback. AVOID THESE COWBOYS.

Same as everyone else. Completed everything online and thought the sale was complete but then EE phone you and complete it over the phone so they rejected my cashback. I only bought with EE because I classed the cashback as getting my handset half price. I agree with the other comment - TCB should investigate, very misleading!!

EE seems very keen not to give you an immediate sale - I was referred to a member of their team. They then seemed to change their mind and granted me a phone a day or so later (without speaking to anyone in their referral team) but because the sale wasn't completed "wholly and immediately online" my cashback will not be forthcoming. I'm pretty annoyed about it. I have an Experian 999/999 credit rating so I don't know why the process couldn't have been completed at the beginning - I suppose it saves EE £158.

Rejected my cash back claim, feel cheated as I know that I followed the correct procedure. I wish that TCB would investigate this further as it is happening to others too. EE took over a month to action my order and their customer service had no information as to when they could fulfil the order that I had paid over £300 for. Cannot recommend EE at all, felt like I was being scammed.

Cashback was refused for apparently using another site to link to the deal (What a cop out), I think EE are falsely advertising the deal to get customers then once your past the cancellation date on your contract they decline the cashback. NOT HAPPY

Declined my cashback. I have found EE fine as a company (so far) but don't bother for cashback!
