The fact they offer value for money items which are delivered quickly are reasons why HMV have been given a four-star rating by those TopCashback members who have decided to provide a review after shopping with them. Customers state that they are pleased with the “great items” and “great prices” they found when shopping online through us, while another highlights the “timely delivery” as the reason for providing positive feedback.

Members also seem to be generally pleased with the cashback process, with some of the comments left including “quick and easy transaction”, “excellent payout speed” and “from my experience, they are very quick giving cashback compared to many other merchants”, with some members reporting their cashback tracked quickly or was paid in two weeks.

HMV do not have a very good overall Trustpilot rating, although the four and five-star reviews left mention such things as the quick delivery provided, with one member explaining how they ordered on Saturday and their items arrived on Tuesday. Other positive comments include “usually better prices than elsewhere and good exclusives” and “I’ve ordered online many, many times and never had an issue”.

	Ordered 2 CD's one on delayed order . Both arrived and the delayed order arrived on the day the CD was released !! Great service . I simply went via the topcashback page then carried on as normal on the HMV website ! You'd be silly not to use it !!

	Received the following after waiting past the expected 12 weeks payment date: "We are sorry to have to inform you that this merchant's network has reported to us that this merchant has gone into Administration and we will not be receiving the cashback for these transactions." Don't know why TCB still has the link to HMV on their site in this case.

	I placed an order on 7th May 2012 for which I should have received £1.95 cashback. HMV confirmed the transaction and then never paid out. After raising the claim on 21st July 2012 I have waited nearly a year before finally asking Topcashback what was going on. HMV have claimed that the order wasn't fulfilled. This is not true. I have the goods and e-mail confirmation of their dispatch. HMV are totally untrustworthy. I will never purchase from them again.

	Finally got the cashback (only 66p!). Not bad I got it, did not expect to get it, as HMV as had been in adminstration for 2-3 months - so full marks to the new owners.

	Didn't get my cashback, I assume this is because of them going into administration. Perhaps they should be removed from topcash back until they can honour cashback agreements?

	Had 1 purchase, tracked and confirmed but as soon as it became payable (months later) was zero! Another tracked and confirmed at 75p but won't be seeing that now. Won't be missed when they go under. It's been in the pipeline for over a year.

	A sad day... HMV is now in receivership. Never thought I'd see the day, I spent my childhood (pretty much) inside HMV stores across town. Soooo many CDs. It was once my second home until Amazon turned my head. R.I.P. dear friend. You will be missed.

	Brought from HMV a CD on 07/08/12. Cashback has sat in agreed section since then but now cashback has been refused by HMV in payment section. I still have e-mail of purchase but as its over 100 days old I can't open a claim ... rubbish!. Won't buy from retailer again if thats how they are that tight :(

	Cashback tracked but didn't show as payable for over 5 months. Once it did, they cancelled it even though no voucher was used and the product was not returned. Can't put a claim to TCB in as it's been more than 100 days. HMV used to be good on honouring cashback but looks like those days are gone.

	Ordered thru HMV 2 times - Disappointed that it took over a week to receive my DVDs in both instances. I had ordered 6 in one go and they were all delivered one by one in sep packaging which was a waste. Would have prefered to have received in one go. Dont think I will order thru HMV again. Play offers a higher cashback % anyway

	Made three separate purchases (DVDs) and all of them paid out £0.5 instead of 5% of purchases in the range of £30 to £50. I recommend using Play.com.

	rubbish! if your order doesn't arrive you have to wait 14 days before they even look into it! so if you are ordering for a gift make sure you leave about 3 weeks just in case! its 2012 nothing takes 14 days! i ordered stuff from china and it came in 6 days. where are hmv orders coming from! the cashback offered is not worth the hassle! avoid! customer services team reading from script! say nothing but "i don't know" and "14 days" so after 14 days it will take another week to investigate! if you are ordering for christmas don't bother unless you can wait till new year!! very very unhelpfull! i have nothing delivered for daughters birthday and they wont even look into it until a week after her birthday!
