I've clicked through from TCB to Hotels.com for years, and been very happy. But I went to book a specific hotel at the weekend, and for the first time ever, that I've noticed, the click-through price was higher than going direct.

Had to lodge a missing cashback claim, was approved & added to my account but then cashback was reduced to £0.00 even though I checked the terms & have met all of them. Would not use again.

Used many times with no issue however on the last occasion the merchant denied cashback claiming we had cancelled the booking - not true at all so £40.44 cashback lost. My feedback is based on this last experience.

I use Hotels.com as my preferred choice for booking hotels as the hotels are always first class. I am not sure why but I always encounter problems both on my mobile and laptop which results in me contacting the site to request they look at why I have not been paid. Once again tonight I have the wrong figure for the hotel and then the payment declined and I now need to ask why?
