At the time of booking it clearly stated we would get 10% discount using a code plus cashback but Hotels.com have declined cashback on all 5 of our bookings. We have lodged missing cashback claims and await the outcome.

Hassle - wrong amount initially, then declined anyway. Called them and refused to help and claimed ignorance. Thus, lodged a complaint here. Eventually received but definitely not worth the hassle.

I've used Hotels.com dozens of times over the last four or five years in the UK and the USA and never had a single problem. Their website is simple to use and together with the client reviews makes for a simple straight forward booking process. It's worth noting that you have to wait until after your stay to get the cashback but I have found it to be 100% reliable.

Not happy - booked several hotels as part of a 2 week holiday - all tracked ok and showed up om my account - first payout was then declined - no reason given - now worried that other payouts will also be declined - absolutely no reason why this should happen.

Pretty disappointed with Hotels.com cashback nowadays - most recent booking has not tracked, and one in Aug 2014 eventually declined in May 2015 due to "cancellation" even though the booking was not cancelled. Now almost a year later I'm still chasing Top Cashback for an update. Hard to recommend this merchant until they sort these problems out :(
