Disappointed that I was not able to take out a policy with RAC as the free breakdown cover would have been brilliant. They won't let me get a quote for buildings cover as my home is rented so will have to look elsewhere.

Tracked very quickly. Unlike a lot of the insurance companies which do not track RAC seems to be legitimate and will pay up. When I do not know but at least it is on the board.

Purchased policy in early June.It is still showing cashback payable as £0. I hope TCB can resolve this as the cashback was the only reason I purchased from RAC. Never had this problem with any other merchant so would be wary of purchasing from RAC home insurance.

Good rate of cashback although it did not track immediately. My thanks to Topcashback for chasing

The was too good to miss. I found a bargain home insurance policy for £161.00 with £70.00 cashback. Whilst it didn't initially track after I raised a claim RAC honoured their offer and paid out quicker than I expected. An amazing deal and excellent service from both RAC and TopCashback.

To update my previous comments re RAC cashback: Policy purchased 18th April, Cashback offered £75 with a 3 month validation period. Cashback of £75 became payable today 27 July so although a few days overdue and confusion arising from the £75 changing to zero all's well that ends well. I'd never had a problem with RAC cashback and I'll happily use them again but remain aware that there might be some slight delay/confusion. In the end I didn't need to contact TCB to chase the payment, they were on top of the situation :)

It's a month since I last left a comment re this payout. I took the policy out on 18 April and the t & c do say cashback validation period of 3 months but it's still sitting in pending where it jumped to from confirmed in June. No sign of any movement at the moment so I'm hoping TCB are chasing this. Technically only a few days overdue for payment although originally the payment date was shown as end of June. I haven't rated the site with the stars and I won't until the cashback is paid.

Cashback tracked okay but appeared as 0 which was noted as normal, expected it to go to £70 once the policy came into effect, still showing 0, now informed by topcashback that I have to wait 2-3 months for a response from RAC. Cannot do anything until then feel like have been cheated completely out of pocket - NOT IMPRESSED!! Will let you all know how I get on.

Purchase tracked quickly, moved to confirmed pretty quickly too, £75 showing due payable at the end of June but a week before the end of June it moved backwards to Pending £75 and £0 showing in Payable. I'm keeping my eye on what's going to happen last day of June/1st July. I imagine I'll end up asking TCB for an explanation but we'll see.

If like me you only bought buildings cover, chances are that you wont get any cashback, the small print is confusing with this one as the main offer makes it seem that if you buy RAC insurance you will get the full cashback, I could not get a straight answer so cancelled policy and got stung for nearly £50, buyers beware with this, also remeber that if you need legal cover and your changing your insurance provider you wont be covered for 180 days! so beware, thats 6 months without legal protection. you just might be better off sticking where you are.

Excellent - received Cashback, even though I had to wait longer than it said. It just changed one day from 'Pending' to 'Payable'. Didn't think it would come through, so I'm really pleased.

unbeatable policy and huge cashback but it took a few months and a few queries to receive payment

Had to wait for an extra 6 weeks, but finally became payable. I was suprised I got anything because I mistakenly paid by monthly DD rather than upfront as was stated in the T&C's

I would not hold my breath about the £70, I went for RAC for car insurance with Topcashback, same deal, £70 cash back. It tracked immediatley as £70, which after about 3 months settled as zero. I read the reviews and everyone was having the same problems. It appears the text on the retailer description had been altered to suit the needs of the person paying the cash back which in this case was Topcashback. They said afterwards, the cashback is only payable to people who pay for there insurance annually! which according to several other reviews it did NOT say this at the time of purchase. I spoke to RAC about it and they confirmed that Topcashback were paying the cash, not them.

Didn't track. Manual claim submitted but I need to wait a month before topcashback can even proceed. I not holding out much hope. Still the quote was £20 better than my current insurance so I can't complain too much.

I purchased contents insurance for £71 and then got back £70.70 cashback so in effect free home insurance. Tracked within an hour as £45 but within days had been upped to the £70 stated. Just have to see how long it takes to become payable! Good stuff.
