I, too, was told by RAC in a phone call that if I bought over the phone then I would still get the cash-back. I told them that I didn't trust this to happen, could they email me a guarantee of this? Er ... no ... so I came back online to complete the purchase.
There's nothing in the small print to say a lesser amount is payable if only Contents Insurance is purchased. So if it tracks at a lesser amount, I shall be expecting TCB to correct the tracking error for the full £70.

Tracked straight away but only for £45 not £70. Topcashback say it should go up in time, when confirmed by RAC.

Same here - 'only' 45quid for contents only! Could not see anywhere a 'small print' that says u get less when its contents only though!!!
