Took a very, very long time to receive 'faster paying' cash back. Paid out though... eventually. I've found that the 'faster paying' flag tends not to stand for much on here.

i took out a policy beginning of jan 15, have paid every month since and not missed any months, but i am still waiting for the £52.50 cashback to be confirmed, i feel it has just been a con to get people to sign up their products, they offer good cashback but it never gets paid. the only reason i went with scottish friendly was the cashback they offered and eight months on im not only waiting for it to be payable but im still waiting for it to be confirmed. iv done everything they asked for in their terms and conditions and still no cashback. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT THE CASHBACK OFFER.

It was an added bonus to receive the cash back. scottish friendly has never let me down. Easy to set up savings plans both forvmybson and I. after the qualifying period funds arriived in my casback account. do easy- hassle free

Be warned it is like trying to get blood out of a stone, the affilitate has to be instructed to pay dorectly from Scottish Friendly and then sits back and does nothing. It just so frustrating its not worth it, will never buy any poilicy via topcashback for Scottish Friendly again.

Disgraceful. £50 cashback declined for no reason for a trust fund I took out for my daughter last year. Topcashback have chased them to no avail. I have sent emails and letters and received nothing back. Next step is Financial Ombudsman, I'm not giving up. I thought they would be a professional company who would honour their customers, clearly not

I have read so many negative reviews AFTER making opening my SF account through TopCashback, I have to admit I wasnt feeling hopeful. I am happy to report to all the TB users that I have in fact just received my 168 pounds for opening 2 accounts for my kids. Im shocked but also happy it went through fine. In total, it took around 7 months for it to go through to payment. I followed all their instructions to the T, I can only assume that the people who were rejected must have missed out an action on their criteria. What I did was pay off the whole 80 pounds as the initial payment instead of waiting for months to pay in 80 pounds. I guess that may have speeded things up for me. I also made regular payments of 20 pounds/account so basically I got back the initial 80 pounds i put in both accounts plus 8 pounds extra. End of the day, at least the kids have that amount confirmed in their accounts for the future. TY so much TB, I shall continue to use this service.

This is a scam. I bought a genuine policy (Child Bond) directly by clicking a link on topcashback site, and the appropriate cashback (50 pounds) was immediately tracked. It was declined after few weeks. I got really surprised and I opened a claim. I got this answer after 3 months of waiting: " Hi there, I can confirm that we have now received an update as regards to this status of this claim. Unfortunately it seems that the merchant has taken the decision to decline this submission, and as such we have not received any cashback to pay over to you or add as a pending indication to your account. The reason that we have received to support this decision states… ''Transaction has been tracked'' We are sorry that we have not been able to recover anything for you on this occasion. I hope that any transactions you go on to make in the future go a lot more smoothly for you. Kind regards, Beccy " They declined my cashback just because. The policy is genuine and I have made all the payments since buying and I will continue for the next 15 years. I never contacted Scottish Friendly directly or over the phone - the only time I did anything with this company was a quick purchase of saver plan (Child Bond) as I said directly through topcashback which was tracked well. Cheaters, cheaters, cheaters. What can I do? Nothing. The only thing I can do is spreading how those cashback work in real, you can never trust topcashback. I got some of the cashbacks with other merchants but you never know. They don't seem to really bother and it's easy to set up great offers, then decline after few months WITHOUT ANY REASON on GENUINE TRACKED PURCHASE.

Not a happy bunny with this company. I took out a new £25.00 ISA last April with the understanding that I would receive a £25 gift card which incidentally took over 3 months to arrive and then the cashback of £73.50 It tracked really quickly but has shown like this for the past 10 months.... I am unsure now as to whether I will ever see this money and its gone beyond the 100 days so I cannot lodge any missing claim with tcb. Disappointed to say the least -

Started a Junior ISA December 2013 Cashback was suppose to be £60.60 I have made regular monthly payments each month and it just continued to be 'pending' now changed to £0 - really disappointed because my decision to open this particular ISA was influenced by the Cashback on offer. AVOID

Purchased from Scottish Friendly at the end of Aug 2013, 26 weeks estimated time for my £50 to become payable and still nearly 52 weeks later and after several message to TCB I am still waiting!! I cant believe that TCB are still featuring this company for cash back when it is quite clear they are not going to pay out! I will keep on pestering TCB, who apparently are chasing this on my behalf and cant give me a timescale as to when it will be resolved! Avoid Avoid Avoid!!

If your thinking of saving over a number of years with this company .... DONT you will get more money if you open a regular bank account and put money into that each month ,my plan is about to mature in August and so far i have lost over £300 let alone what it will be in August i am disgusted with this company and hate the fact that i have thrown so much money away over the years!!!!!

I never recieved cashback from Scottish Friendly after taking out a childs saving account last April. I put in a claim for this straight away & when I still hadn't heard anything 9 months later contacted top cashback customer support. I was informed that the sale didn't track properly and I wouldn't recieve my money. Very unhappy and will be going elsewhere when I open my next savings account.

I took out a policy, and can now no longer afford payments. I have tried calling on several occassions to get advice re this, however they just keep on telling me that if i cancel the policy that i will loose all of the payments i have made. If i contine paying until the first 2 years are up i will then get a 'calculated' amount of what i have paid, although they cannot advise me what the amount is calculated on, only that i will not get back what i have paid in. I would advise to say clear of opening any policy with Scottish 'Friendly'
