I used a comparison site and entered my annual gas and electric usage, and found Sottish Power provided the best deal. I thought the cashback amount for changing to Scottish Power was very good, so I joined then through TopCashback. Upon completing the transfer to Scottish Power the cashback was credited to my topcashback account. I am very happy both with the cashback and the service being provided by Scottish Power.

Everything was going fine up until a week ago. Application went through. Cashback tracked. All fine and dandy. Until the moment when I provided the changeover meter readings (which is, I guess, pretty much the starting point of my contract with Scottish Power - supply itself is due to start tomorrow). Suddenly the £72 pending sum was scratched out and replaced with a zero. SP blames TCB. TCB blames SP. And I'm stuck in a cold place in the middle, about to start a new dual fuel supply for which the primary signing up incentive was the now vanished £72 cashback offer. Anyone else having problems?
