It took an extremely long amount of time before cashback was received. It was well over 20 weeks. That is why I only gave it 3 stars. Apart from that it was fine.

Took out my boiler plan in October and received payout in Feb - albeit a bit longer than initially advised. The plan is great and they were out to service my boiler very quickly.

I`m with SSe for 3 years but to be honst this year SSe was not good at all as I`m pay as you go last year they was taking £20 for the gas and £10 for elitrec for one week but this year they taking £50 per week for only gas so please be carefull when you wont to be with them

SSE cashback was estimated as 8 weeks it has took from the 6th Aug to 25th Jan to become payable over five months. Everything went smoothly with the change of suppliers this was all set up in August with direct debits going out by October. Great amount of cashback and Topcashback did pay it as soon as they could but a very slow process

Took out new fuel supply with them in October, which was switched over by November. Actually did a lot of research for this and SSE were cheapest supplier for me (for both daily standing charge and usage per kWh/gas unit). First direct debit came out in December and cashback immediately went from pending to payable. £85 in the bank, nicely done. Have also signed up for the smart meter which is being fitted tomorrow, so will review again once that is completed.
