On the subject of cashback, one delighted customer said: “Took out a new fuel supply with them in October, which was switched over by November. First Direct Debit came out in December and cashback immediately went from pending to payable.”

Other comments you’ll find include “nice little treat and pretty fast payment” and “very quick — paid as soon as my first month’s payment came out”. Another member stated: “Took out my boiler plan in October and received payout in February. The plan is great and they were out to service my boiler very quickly.” Others who have commented on the company said such things as “very easy to deal with” and “very helpful and efficient service — can’t fault them really”. While their overall rating on Trustpilot isn’t good, you will find some very positive SSE Energy review feedback.

One customer described them by saying: “Best energy company ever — so helpful, polite and value for money. Still awaiting my confirmed cashback 5 months after the date payable and a full 8 months after signing up to them. Customer Service's are nice enough but no better than any of their compeitiors whilst the length of time to deliver cashback doesn't do them any credit.

It now appears there are some different terms that don't appear on the webpage, ie SSE and/or TCB have decided you must stay with them (undefind time) before they will pay out.

Still no joy from TCB they must be aware of these problems. I can't believe there is a 98.1% of people that are happy with SSE/Alantic and no way is this 20 weeks on average payout.

they don't pay cash back so don't bother, track sale will become 0.00 without any reason if you still with them.

My electric tracked in June this year should have paid end of October but because they added the gas (after I claimed only 1 fuel tracked, the electric) it now has delayed it even further.

I got dual fuel from Atlantic Energy which is part of this same group. It tracked under the name Scottish & Southern, but was only for half the amount advertised (£30 instead of £60)- now after months of waiting, the amount has gone to zero. Waste of time.

Received £20 less than I should have, try to make a claim against this on the site to be told there was no offer in place although I have received £22 already?? Poor service, first and last time I have completed a larger transaction. Will not recommend in future!!

Abysmal. Bought M&S energy, didnt track. Still waiting for the claim even to be approved/ declined. Joined them 5 months ago. Waste of time. Although the customer service is good, there is always a large queue which is frustrating to go through. Not happy

Joined SSE via M&S dual fuel and had to chase this twice in order to get it to track. Like everyone else, only tracked for single fuel. After raising a ticket the missing 23.30 was added. Cashback failed to appear by the first payout date of 31/05/11 and then the second date of 31/08/11 has once again failed to payout. It is now the 2nd September and no cash has materialised - POOR PERFORMANCE! - I'm hoping Topcashback can rectify this as soon as possible

After submitting enquiry as only single fuel rate tracked, they've now added another single fuel amount. Both are still only pending so submitted enquiry now. Just paid first bill so hopefully should be some movement soon.

Tracked within 2 hours but at single fuel rate rather than dual fuel rate. Hopefully TCB will uplift it with an enquiry-i will let you know as this seems to be the first review of this company
