Cashback tracked very quickly but was declined just as quickly, even though I met all the qualifying criteria. Without the cashback, I could have gotten a better deal elsewhere.

I'm still waiting for my cashback after 5 months. It's there waiting all confirmed just waiting to be paid. Cashback in approx. 8 weeks - my backside! Moral of the story - shop for your car insurance somewhere else if cashback is wanted in this lifetime.

Unless you have several hours you would like to be filed with stress, oh and £1000 spare in your bank that you don't mind them taking if they feel inclined to, I would avoid them. I won't use again, customer service is abysmal and I can't begin to imagine how stressful they would be to deal with if you had a claim. I had been with them for a couple of months (now nearly four and still waiting for my cashback by the way) and they suddenly sent me a letter saying I had failed to respond to their requests for proof of bonus and my policy would be cancelled or over £1000 taken from my bank without further notice. I had received nothing. I telephoned and was told they had been emailing me, to which I replied that they had not. She was immediately rude and aggressive and told me I must have put in my email address wrong, to which I replied that they had been emailing me to the right address about other things. Despite discovering that the email address they had sent it to was not the email address they had been sending other earlier communications to (they had repeated my surname twice) and that there was no log of a request to change in their tracking system, she refused to accept this was their error and said I would be charged the extra, more than £1000, which would be coming straight out of my bank. This was only avoided by a very helpful lady at my previous company who drafted a letter and sent over, although they still tried to get out of accepting that by email.
