Very poor! In small print, just before you buy, they try to stick you with a 75p booking fee. When cashback is only 1.5% you would have to pay over £50 on a ticket just to break even! Buying direct from the train companies, there is no fee......

First time of using this supplier to buy train tickets, track very quickly then went straight to payable after several months. It might have been a small amount of cash back but it is something.

As others have mentioned, beware the completely hidden booking fee (£1) and credit card and paypal fee (£3.50) When buying tickets through the site. I'd recommend using this site to check train times and see if the're cashback through the specific train operator's web site.

It did not track but went straight to payable after submitting a claim with TCB. I ordered the tickets in June and it has become payable today which is my first transaction to become payable since signing up with TCB in June so I am really happy with both TCB and The Trainline.

I don't understand how this is 4* as not once has my cashback tracked on it's own, instead I always have to submit a missing cashback claim.

First two purchases didn't register, so I stopped using them. One has appeared after chasing, but the other hasn't. Not too impressed.

Worse cashback experience ever. I use topcashback website all the time with several vendors, and it works, but with trainline.com NEVER EVER worked. Raised a complaint, nobody cares, they told me "it's your problem, we don't give a damn". I book the train every single week, about £200 each week...never seen a single penny cashback....

Cashback declined for no reason. Don't bother and why use them anyway and pay a booking fee when there are plenty of providers out there who do not charge booking fees but do provide reliable and comparable levels of cashback - First Transpennine for example

Have been using TCB/Thetrainline for years and had no problems. Now my last four purchases have not tracked and I have yet to receive my cashback. Have raised a missing claim with TCB so just waiting... If they don't track or pay cashback please remove them from the list of suppliers!
