The online ordering system from topps tiles is a shambles because the order is actually arranged by your local store. This means that any problems with your order are dealt with by that store and you have to take tiles to that store for a refund if they are damaged (even though you bought them online). But their online and in-store order IT systems don't tie up very well. It's almost worth not buying online, but then you have to pay the extortionate £42 delivery fee (free online for orders over £150 at the moment).
My online order from December 2013 is still showing as pending on topcashback - this is because it is still showing as "order is being processed" on the topps tiles system, even though the tiles have been delivered and installed! I think they will wait for 100 days, then cancel the cashback, because after that time you cannot submit a cashback claim.
Overall, I wouldn't rate the service from topps tiles as anything more than average. And, more importantly, I would not rely on getting any cashback from them.

Tried to use Tesco vouchers along with the cash back and was told you can't use the vouchers online and that you have to use them in store then losing the free delivery option

Good quality products purchased but the cashback element is poor, over 3 and a half months and still no sign of this cashback being confirmed. Judging by other comments ill be waiting at least another 3 months.

Good products, basic customer service and cashback redemption is non-existent!
Customer services seems to be run in the back of a bedroom - phoned a few times no answer and then not the most helpful.
Still waiting after 6 months for confirmation of cashback, let alone the cashback.
Good products - but don't expect cashback.

Cashback tracked straight away but was never confirmed and payment is a month overdue! Product was delivered later than quoted and arrived in dirty boxes which marked my carpet.

I ordered 15 packs of laminate flooring from them got cashback payable to my account. 2 packs of flooring was left and took them to shop for refund. Finally I found out the cashback has been taken out from my account and for the transaction shows £0.00 cashback. I lost 1.5 pack of flooring amount of cashback because I returned 2 packs of the remaining flooring. BEWARE

No problem with the cashback-it tracked quickly but turned out to be irrelevent as i cancelled the order.I ordered a product for instore delivery but over a week later the order status was still `being picked`so i rang and was told it would be ready for collection next day.It wasnt and after another call and being given no definite collection date i cancelled.First time using topps amd probably the last.

I have visited the 2 Topps Tiles stores locally and found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. However, the online experience was a disappointment.
I received a confirmation email saying my order had been dispatched and part of my order (the tiles) arrived after about a week. However, some tools were missing. I contacted Topps and was told that they had been sent separately by DHL. I then received another email confirming my order had been dispatched but but over a week later the items had still not been delivered. I again contacted Topps and they blamed DHL for losing the order.
So, after three weeks waiting I cancelled the order and bought the tools I needed locally.
I was very happy with the tiles I bought and the price but you need to be careful to check the prices of some of their other items e.g. adhesive, grout, and trims which I found much cheaper elsewhere.

yes the payment tracked very quickly but i will never in my life ever use this company again. They don't deliver to people's home but to the curb side on the road as their drivers are not insured to lift heavy items as i was told today by their customer service when my items were just left on the road! Call before you make any purchase online and confirm how they deliver! The delivery guy I had this morning was a disgusting piece of work as well. I wonder if companies in this day and age ever wonder what the power of word of mouth marketing is. Someone who has had a bad experience will 50 people, friends, family, neighbours, people they work with, anyone will listen and they in turn will warn others. That's how a company goes out of business. The cashback was not worth it if you're going to damage your back lifting tiles from the road side back to your house yourself!
