Did not track and claim process contrary to everything else on here to allow some time before claiming. It's a trap.

AVOID -FRAUDULENT
Cashback declined after stay - refused to amend because stay had already happened. This means their advertised cashback is simply a lie and you have no recourse.

Refused cashback
Like loads of other reviews - tracked fine, denied it after the stay. When put in a missing cashback claim, it said claims cannot be raised after stay. It's just a cheeky way of getting out of paying - just not worth it.

AVOID - declined cashback for no reason
As others have said, avoid them.
They wait until you've stayed and then decline without reason, there was no reason to decline. Tried to raise a claim only to find out that they don't allow you to raise a claim after the stay.
Guess they've found a sneaky way to avoid paying out.
Very frustrating, I definitely won't be using them again.

Awful
Declined my cashback as claimed the stay date had passed. What about if the person booked for the same day? We are supposed to wait a few days as it is to lodge any missing cashback if it doesn't track so that's what I did and they used the loophole of saying it was after my stay date to get out of paying my cashback! AVOID

Hotels are solid, however cashback seems to be delayed then refused beyond the point at which anyone will accept a claim. If you have to stay here, use Expedia.

After many months, I have been notified that Village Hotels has "declined" the promised TopCashback relating to my visit, without reason of course! Clearly, I will ensure that I never visit this or any affiliated Hotel in the future. ANY TopCashback Merchant that cannot be trusted to honour their cashback offers should be BANNED from the site. Otherwise, what is the point of trusting ANY offer?

I hae 7 claims from over a year ago still pending, when lodged a claim they won't do anything unless i let them know the exact-dates I stayed which is impossible to find out a YEAR LATER.
