I've ordered so many book for this site, and have yet to be disapointed. On the whole goods are sent out quickly, and when they aren't due to being out of stock, then you're kept well informed as to what is happening.

Tracked fine but my order from 2 weeks ago has still not arrived so beware if ordering for Christmas!! Got an email 2 weeks ago saying it had been dispatched but am still waiting for my books. :(

Using the website was fine however my order could not be filled which I was informed off within 24hrs of placing my order. The downside to the entire experience was that at no point did Waterstones follow up my order with me, I constantly had to call or e-mail them and their turnaround time of questions is 3 days (however they do advise they will try to get back to you sooner). So 4 weeks after placing my order I am now told they are unable to supply me with my items which has left me in a pickle as the goods were our client Christmas gifts.
On the cashback side of this the cashback amount showed up on my account within 24hrs which was good, although as I have now had to cancel my order I will not receive the cashback.

Terrible!
Bought an ebook reader with next day courier delivery 5 days later the item still has not arrived. I called up and was told on 4 days to "call back the next day" finally when I demanded a tracking number was told that they "for some reason don't have it on their system" so couldn't even tell me if it was posted or not. Would not refund until after it has been investigated which can take 14 days.
Had to go and buy a item from a store as its a Christmas present.
Be very wary if buying for Christmas and you need the item in a hurry.

When ordering the book the site gives the impression that they hold stock. It was not until a cuple of hours after the order had been taken that an email was received advising that Waterstones were waiting stock of the item and that it was on back order !!
