I wish I had read the reviews before taking out insurance with the AA last year. Cash back tracked and was expecting it to be paid out but then it suddenly appeared as zero. Have had to send several nudges and messages to tcb but still no valid reason as to why no payment. Also another family member took insurance with AA at around same time and exactly the same thing happened tracked, became payable but then changed to zero. Will not be using the AA again other insurance companies have paid cash back no problem.

I took out motor policy in october/2011, its 5 months since then and still no sign of £26 cash back! I cant even track on my account anymore because it disappeare which is a disgrace, ried a few nudges but in vain, I will not renew my policy with AA again.

I so wish I'd read these comments before I purchased but because I'd used the AA for previous purchases without a problem I thought nothing of it. Company is a complete disaster for cashback now as echoed by so many here. Failed to track, lodged claim, claim for £26 appears, claim for £26 then dissapears when payable. No saved quote used , no cancellation, no voucher used blah blah blah. End result,zero cashback and so will use elsewhere next time. Are they bothered? Er...No.

Avoid this company if you are expecting cash back, they will not pay out and TCB cannot do anything about it. I have previously bought car insurance with other companies and although it takes several months they do get there eventually but The AA doesn't. I bought my car insurance in november and did everything correctly - new customer, no saved quote etc, I met all the criteria to ensure I would get my cash back but after initially tracking correctly it went to zero as soon as it became payable. Customer services say this is very common with The AA and now I have been told that there is nothing more they can do as AA have declined my cash back so my case is closed. I'm not a happy TCBer.

As far as the cashback aspect of this retailer. Absolutelty terrible. Ordered in april 2011. Had to repeatedly nudge the cashback as it was not progressing after stated maximum time. TCB did there best to speak to AA regarding it but they kept asking for "impossible" data which didn't exist, even though I could provide adequate data and proof of purchase, then suddenly a year later almost AA decided to say sorry we cant do it and blame it on another merchant taking credit for the reference. A load of rubbish, considering we spent months trying to resolve a data request issue to simply verify it then suddenly, it can't be done for a totally different reason. If it was actually down to another merchant taking credit that would have been the answerr months ago. Never going AA again and they have the nerve to keep sending offers for other products, because... I purchased car insurance off them, haha.

I did my car insurance online with the aa through topcash back. First it didn't track and so I had to chase it up through topcashback. Now my cashback claim has been declined- for no clear reason, I fulfilled all their criteria. I've used topcashback loads and never had a problem before. I wouldn't use the aa for car insurance again. Steer clear.

Took out car insurance with AA on the 20/10/2011 which did not track made a claim through topcashback on the 3/11/2011 using a couple of nudges, just heard from topcashback (24/02/2012)that it as been successful in getting my cashback paid into my account, I had seen all the bad reviews about this company but decided to take a chance as they were the cheapest quote by about £20 my advice for what it is worth is don`t factor in the cashback & if theres another company giving a similar quote with slightly less cashback go with them I might of just got lucky!I would also like to thank the people at topcashback for a job well done Cheers!

I got my Father in Law to try out TCB when sorting his motor policy. Policy taken out March 2011, it tracked OK but now in Jan 2012 and still waiting for the cashback!

I can only echo the comments made by a previous subscriber. Took out car insurance in July, expecting £26 cashback and nudged a few times. Today have rejected claim with no reason. Will avoid in future and recommend you do the same.

I wish I had read the previous comments made on here. Bought car insurance back in July, didnt track so had to place a manual claim. Sent a couple of nudges and then a message to tcb who have now sent back saying that AA will not be paying out but no reason given!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID as in previous comments.

Took out cover last April; tracked quickly; payment to me of £26-26 is on its way to the bank (September)-- insurers take along time to pay in case you decide to cancel the policy and claim a refund,I think they pay after about 5 or 6 months, when policy has no 'refund' value. I now have another policy with the AA which tracked quickly and waiting for payment time. So, all o.k. in my experience so far.

A BIT OF ADVICE FOR EVERONE. just received my cashback from February, now 21st November. took this advice from another member on here. sorry i carnt find your comment to post your name but thanks. EMAIL AA customer services and ask them a few questions, how you signed up, date you signed up, how you paid etc.. get it all in email and forward it to Topcashback on their claims pages. they cannot deny. worked for me. hope it works for you. good luck.

Clearly it's not just me! Topcashback's own statistics say >>>"97% of transactions fail to track" <<< I'd have gone elsewhere as it was the (then) £50 cashback that persuaded me to buy from the AA. Needless to say, nearly a year on, NO CASHBACK.

I purchased AA insurance and breakdown and should have received £26 as a new customer but it has not tracked so could have got a better deal elsewhere. Don't use is my advice.

I took out insurance with the AA in August 2009. While I followed the required procedure the transaction did not track. I submitted a manual claim with the assistance of TCB. This has been followed by a number of 'nudges' since the claim was resubmitted. The AA appear to have done nothing so I am not holding my breath. In my opinion you should consider carefully before dealing with the AA and not make a decision based on the cashback on offer. Its unlikely to be paid in my experience. Just look at the statistics.

Now i see all my information has disappeared so my only answer to the AA is d'ont call me as i will not be dealing with you ever again. ONLY TRIED DUE TO CASHBACK ON OFFER AT THE TIME .
