Further to my review below I contacted Amex direct. After a wasted hald hour using live chat, I rang them and they said they'd honour the £5 cashback through a direct credit to my Amex account, so worth ringing them if they fail to credit the cashback. Slightly hassly but got there in the end. PSLike the way the reviews default to the best ratings first, very sneaky.
