Doesn't track cookie, waste of time
Doesn't track cookie for all my transactions and my family ones, waste of time raise a missing claim back and forth. Replied after 4 months saying they offer me for good gesture and B&Q changed their system blah blah blah.

Not Impressed with B&Q
Over the months I have spent hundreds of pounds with B&Q using cash back. Each time I have had a battle to get cash back, then have wait for three months to get an answer, which is usually no. I don't have any problems with any other supplier only B&Q. When I have questioned why I get told thats their decision end of storey, apart from once when I was told that they have changed to a different system. They are either part of Cashback and honour purchases that are made or they are not.

Unexpected Impressive Experience
Purchased from B&Q by TopCashback, but could not get the normal cashback. After negotiation with TopCashback who could let me have "Goodwill Claim". Guys should keeping to check the Earning page in order not to miss any cashback.

3 months still no cashback
Purchased items in August, managed and refurbed the whole house since and still no cashback. Whatever technology they are now using is clearly inadequate as it never used to be this bad.

Scam
Like everyone else says bandq always avoid paying out cash back and it’s no coincidence they take 90 days to resolve cases when their returns policy is also 90 day. I’ve been denied 3 times in 3 years for what I would say is a large sum of money (£40 a time). The only reason I purchased was with the TopCashback incentive, without it has now made the purchase far greater than it would have been from other stores. It’s a scam.

15% bonus cashback denied
Placed order through this retailer due to the bonus cashback of 15%. Didn't track and claim declined because "terms and conditions were not met". No indication of how they were not met as I did everything the same as I had on previous purchases where the cashback tracked correctly, just looks like the retailer doesn't want to pay out.

Waste of time
Absolute joke. Made a large purchase when they were promoting a special cashbacks rate. The transaction didn't track like many others have reported on here. My claim then sat for 5 months and it has now been declined for no valid reason. I should be getting over £20 cashbacks from this. Reading other reviews, this obviously happens a lot so why are TCB allowing them to promote deals on here when they don't actually pay out?

I wouldn't bother trying for cashback with B&Q again. Declined both of my transactions, yet i followed the normal process of clearing cookies and not using a voucher etc..

Not Happy
Not a good word to say, every time I have purchased something with B&Q I have had to open a case and wait for 3 months for an out come. On the last ocassion I was told that because B&Q had changed systems they would not pay out. Well when you are playing a game you don't move the goal post in the middle of the game and not tell anyone, then take you ball home. Still have a case outstanding

Cashback Declined for no reason
I have now had two purchases refused cashback by B&Q. In both cases they claimed the terms and conditions had not been met. However, I know I met all of them and when I asked which terms or conditions specifically were not met they could not tell me! On the first occasion, Topcashback were great and they honoured the cashback amount so I was not out of pocket. Thank you to TopCashback. My experience of B&Q on the other hand is extremely negative.

Does not track. Refused payout.
Purchase did not track. Raised missing cashback ticket. Waited for 5 months told did not meet terms and conditions. No other explanation. I have the receipt and have used the paint. No returns. Topcashback have to take responsibility for wrong advertising, when cashback us denied.

Tracked OK, Value con, Service Terrible
Good points: So it has tracked the transaction which is great so far, however they take the VAT off straight away so the % is less straight away, TopCashBack don't make this clear so where they currently have a higher rate "Online Purchase £200 +" it's actually £240 - I didn't fall into this trap as I purchased a kitchen at well over 10x this value. TCB should publish VAT percentage commissions as all retailers are forced to quote VAT-inclusive prices. Bad points: The process was painful, Items that claim to be in stock on their website with "delivery within 7 days" are apparently not. I ordered from a mobile where I don't think you can pick a delivery date, you are just given a date after parting with your cash (in my case thousands) only to be given a date over 6 weeks time (Their own Delivery page on website says "from a few days up to 5 weeks"). The item is in stock at every store by the looks of things (tells me qty & aisle, but then also says within 7 days delivery) - so canceled the sink that was blamed for the long delay, and managed to get the delivery down to just 5 days. PS. Already advised by the in-store designer NOT to buy worktops from them because they didn't have any in stock (wanted a breakfast bar + 4x 3m worktops) The breakfast bar lack of stock lost them over four digit £ straight away. Sizing in the current August 2023 Magazine/Price list are wrong at least two sinks are completely wrong. In-store designer was an issue too, she couldn't convert cm (used in the brochure) to mm (used by their design software) - had to point out math errors. Couldn't cope with appliances not sold by themselves, the software forces a ranged product with wrong dimensions to be used to fill gaps. This led us to do it ourselves at home. It's only because we spent so much time and effort into choosing each component that we stuck with B&Q for the 14 floor units + additional wall units, would not use them again.

I always use top cash back but however I find that any large purchases I make with B&Q never pay out, they are declined for some reason.

Unfortunately had to rate this retailer as poor as wouldn't pay cashback and pretended to have incorrect information e.g order returned when not the case. Felt like retailer trying to get out of paying cashback. Would hesitate to use again.

Be aware!
Be aware, when it says orders above £200 get the higher cashback, it means excluding VAT! Topcashback needs to specify this on the top of the page, not in the small prints.

Tracking
I have purchased quite a few items from B&Q using cashback. On nearly every purchase I have had to submit a ticket because the transaction has not tracked and therefore had to wait at least 3 months for a result. I have three purchases at the moment that have not tracked and am awaiting the out come. It is very anoying because at point of sale they are quick enough to take your money but very slow to give back.
