Danager - avoid budget con. We had a tracked purchase, we provided full budget agreement reference details of a rental which we fully paid for and completed and Budget refused to honour the cashback. Its time for Topcashback to remove the company.

Tracked fine, then changed to £0 and "paid" before the actual rental date. Completed the rental and submitted a claim but it was rejected as "the item was cancelled" even though I have documentation to prove I completed the car hire. Very poor.

Would be less than 1 star but can't submit without a star.Booked in Oct for car hire in March. Not changed from £0.00. Now showing as declined and over 100 days can't submit support ticket as no Bidget Car Hire comes up in list of Budget companies. Thinking of cancelling the car hire and going with another company.

My claim in April 2014 did not track and so I submitted a claim quoting the reference on the email I received with my booking. This was rejected by Budget as it was an "Invalid Order Number". It was the only reference that they provided and I checked and it was correct. They obviously are only using Topcashback as free advertising and don't want to pay any commissions out. I see that this has happened to others as well. Will avoid them in the future.

Used Budget in Italy and the car hire was great.
Unfortunatley my hire did not track on Topcashback and so submitted a missing claim. Despite providing the exact references that were given to me on my booking confirmation from Budget, Topcashback were unable to get any cashback for me. The excuse that Budget used was that the reference was "invalid"! It was their reference on the booking email!
Won't be using them again if I am looking for cashback. I am sure there are better deals out there.

I arranged for 3 cars to be hired via this site from Budget, the amount was shown ZERO, the notes now show no cash back is available, after spending over £1200.00. :(. We went on a family holiday to Florida, there were 10 of us so we arrange 3 cars hired from Budget via this site on the assumption that we would get cash back, the amounts tracked as 0 but this was explained as that is what some vendors do until the goods are delivered etc. upon return from holiday the system now sees that cash back is not available and i cannot claim as over 100 days. I have lodged a claim via a support ticket but will not hold my breath.

The purchase did not track. I submitted a claim with a reference number and Budget refused it without reason. I will hire my car from another merchant in future.

Budget are not honouring cashback. I hired two cars from them for the first week of June in Miami. Both were booked online and both have had cashback tracked but then reduced to £0. No reasons given, no ineligible codes used. I will not book online with Budget again via TopCashBack.

I had a pretty similar experience to Woolyjumper. They did not pay up my cashback. I lodged a claim. This is now on hold. I am waiting to see whether they will keep their side of the deal, but I am not holding up my breath.

Budget do not appear to be honouring cashback claims that are submitted manually from my recent experience in March and April 2014.
They are rejecting on the basis that the: Order reference is invalid.
This has happened twice now - one with using the reservation number, the second with the correct rental agreement number.
The actual rental of the Car Hire with Budget has been fine though - it just seems the cashback side is not quite working.

I wish I had read the all negative reviews before booking a car (twice) from Budget! Neither order have tracked. So far I have only submitted a claim from the first order - it was rejected ... order reference invalid! I used the booking number, but since submitting my claim Top CashBack have changed their claim form and now require the rental agreement number. I had this number confirmed by Budget from an email request (as I had thrown the agreement away after the hire) and Top CashBack kindly resubmitted my claim. Guess what ... rejected again by Budget for the same reason, order reference invalid, even though they had confirmed the correct number for me!
I don't hold out much hope for my second car hire claim!
Don't think I'll be using Budget again.

Car Hire was fine but it took Budget 2 year to deny my claim. Top Cashback took their own sweet time too, not at all like them.
Very unhappy - use Holiday Autos - they are normally cheaper and DO pay their cashback.

This merchant is useless. Car hire was back in October 2013 - Dublin Airport , dreadful experience on collection no signage for pick up and delivery back into the airport was even worse - very poor signage/information. I am a seasoned business traveller so I do know the difference! Cashback never tracked and had to submit a claim, Amount has been 'confirmed' for 6 months now, and TCB have chased payment, still haven't received same. Never,ever again. My advice? Do NOT book car hire with Budget and certainly not out of Dublin Airport, whether I will ever receive cashback is another mattert. Their saving grace was that their staff at Dublin were fine I actually feel sorry for the guys there (they did their best). TCB you should 'ban' Budget Car Hire from your website!!!!

Went through the normal process to book via the topcashback site. After not getting the cashback processed I launched an enquiry. Budget have just decided that they do not want to honour their commitments. Very annoying and definitely not a company that I would use again.

I don't understand all the great comments below. I got the cashback accepted fairly quick but in terms of paying the cashback it's been my worst experience on top cashback so far. I hired the car in August 2013 (made booking online in July) and still haven't received the cashback - it's March 2013 now!

Did not receive the cash back, even after lodging claim. Been using top cashback for years and this is the first one that did not track or pay out.
Customer services at the Belfast City airport very pushy to sell the extra ins etc. I had taken out a separate ins policy to cover the excess but this still didn't stop them trying to sell theirs. Wouldn't use again, ill stick to AVIS.

Cashback didn't track, submitted a claim. Claim took 8 months to come through and Budget eventually rejected it for no reason. In this case, I did everything to the letter and went straight to Budget. I'm annoyed they've stiffed me out of legitimate cashback. Wouldn't recommend for cash back (good product and service though).
