We eventually got our cash back after months (even years) of waiting. but it was worht the wait over £155 back from 2 transactions!

Shocking. Come on TCB, what on earth are you playing at dealing with this company? Remove them from your site as they are bringing you into disrepute. Booked on Dec 22nd 2012 and hired car in Feb 2013. Now Aug 2013 and still no cashback although been confirmed for months. Even worse was the car that we hired was rubbish and had no alarm or security features; it got broken into in Portugal(thieves knew exactly how to get in- makes me wonder if was a company employee) and then, despite us having the full insurance, got scammed for £50 to replace the back window that was smashed. This has got to be the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. AVOID.

Cashback tracked and confirmed, but have been waiting months and payment still not made. In addition, on return from holiday (Florida) we received an additional charge of £80 on our credit card, even though the car had been checked and we had been issued with a receipt saying nothing else to pay! Would not recommend this company.

Hired in December, now 8 months later and while confirmed has not been paid. THESE DO NOT PAY OUT. On top of this, they charged my credit card with £9 without any reason. I had to phone up and get it refunded, which they blamed on poor staff training!!!

Very efficient, site easy to use, all round good service. Excellent rate of cashback, which would have amounted to quite a lot of money, but it hasn't tracked so awaiting the result of a claim :(

Unfortunately, Budget took the decision to reject my claim with the reason I didn't meet there criteria for cash back. I had to disagree as I believe I had, but no cash-back forthcoming. I won't be using them again.

Hired a car for 3 weeks still had the hire car and the cashback was payable. Had only booked the car 2 days in advance so took less then 4 weeks to receive the cashback. Brilliant.

Tracked in 2 days unlike auto-europe which never tracked and never paid. Good rate, good price. Like all cheap car hire deals though watch out for high excess, e.g. VW Golf ex 1500 euro (which they then sell you more insurance at the counter, 11euro/day). Cheaper to get a separate excess policy (I pay £100 pa, carhireexcess.com, to ensure a family of 5 people for up to £3k car hire excess including tyres which are usually excluded. I save on just one holiday). Shame I can't get cashback on CHE but you can't have it all.

I normally use Hertz but they were too expensive so I tried Budget. Although there was nothing wrong with the car or service, still no cashback even though I should have had it back in early November. Have nudged them several times but nothing received. Would thus not use again!

didnt track my order. The service we got from them in Miami airport was horrible. it took long time to speak to the person. Long queue for pick up document(because they tried to sell you more expensive car and etc.) We already paid online and told them WE DON'T WANT ANYTHING ELSE! They are So persistent. They still tried to charge us some service. When we returned the car to airport, the person who check the car and petrol, She asked us to go to counter because We have to pay for some charge. But We told her "we said we don't want anything when we picked up car" she is not working for Budget I don't think.(She was really nice), and Told us " GO TO SEE MANAGER, YOU HAVE TO SEE MANAGER NO ONE ELSE!" She said it always happened. so Be careful! they tried to charge you anything they can. when we went back to counter there are a few people also waiting to talk to manager because of same thing happened to them. We will never use this company again!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Although the car hire service itself was generally a good experience, I still have not had any cash back at all from the car I hired in July. Very disappointed because i chose to pay for the car in sterling, had I paid for it at the local rate it would have been cheaper.

Good for US car hire as they allow you to bring back the vehicle with a full tank of gas and hence avoid the cost of a full tank. Bad for the hard sell at the airport pick up on upgrades, insurance, breakdown etc.
