Failed to honour the cashback offer
Purchased car insurance through Topcashback using a Gocompare link. jumped through every hoop, no ad blockers etc. Expecting £40 cashback, they have refused to pay out despite providing the car insurance policy number. Apparently I was not the last referral, but they are not saying who was. So as far as I am concerned they might as well have taken £40 out of my wallet.

If you want a promise of cashback and are willing to wait a few months for
it to be declined each and every time, then like I have stated each year this happens,

Lull you in with a good cashback offer then don't pay out. Scam artists
Isn't it funny how all the lower cashback amounts track with no problem (I've never had an eBay cashback not track) but when you come to try and get cashback for a bigger amount, for some reason they don't track. This is the official reply I got when I appealed my claim:
'We have now received a final response for your claim and been informed that we haven’t been seen as the reason this order was placed. This means we have been unable to obtain any money back on your behalf.'
Look at the all the other 1 star reviews as well. They clearly just don't want to pay up.

Cashback Declined - wish I’d read these reviews first
Made a valid purchase and cashback was declined. Put in a claim and waited 2 months … cashback declined again with no reason given. Will never use gocompare ever again and will advise others to do the same.

GC repeatedly do not payout
Have (foolishly) used GoCompare for car & home insurance for a number of years, and to my knowledge I've had 1 payout in about 5 usages. It's always sat at £0 (awaiting uplift of something like that), then after about 90 days gets declined with no reason behind it
Use the TopCasjback version - it has similar rewards and is prompt with payouts

I have done hundreds of transactions successfully, but GoCompare declined my cashback, no idea why, and judging by the many reviews similar to this one, it is not uncommon. I wouldn't bother risking it again.

Charlatans at best, Scammers at worst.
Like many others, followed instructions to the letter. The purchased tracked, no payout. Raised a ticket and provided further proof even though TCB already have all details. Get a message feom TCB to say still declined without any reason or justification. Thanks a bunch TCB, you're about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Either that or the payouts are going *ahem* astray ?
