	We have got both home insurance and car insurance out with Hastings. When we took home insurance out last year we went through top cashback and everything was ok. When we got a renewal through Hastings for car insurance we thought it worked out cheaper to ring direct. Unfortunately we were not listened to, and have ended up paying more for legal insurance. Because of this we will not be getting home insurance out this year with hastings, and i have already sorted out insurance with another firm instead. When the car insurance runs out next july, we will be going elsewhere.

	Wait the expected 3 months for cashback. nothing wait another 2 months and create a ticket with TCB. nothing wait a bit longer and see that the expected £35 has turned to £0.00. Dont bother. Get a cheaper quote elsewhere and forget the cashback. Hastings did.

	Like the previous comments i have been unable to access this booking service which is frustrating s am going back to compare .com & must bypass top cashback which is sad !!

	Like others I tried to do this online, but everytime you try to proceed it opens a new window for the t&c, close this and you are thrown back to the beginning - therefore it cannot be completed online and you will NOT get cashback!

	Dismal website design means that everytime I tried to click to purchase it opened a terms and conditions page, that when I closed it closed the whole page. I spoke to customer services who were only interested in making teh sale (so I would lose my cashback) Avoid!

	Like most who have posted here my cashback never tracked. I have however received my cashback today. I got my money by writing to the Complaints Dept at Hastings Direct and complaining as they are breaking Financial Services Act rules. The rules say that their advertising has to be “fair, clear and not-misleading”. By not paying up they are breaking the FSA rules. Good luck

	Didnt track, and took 9 months of nagging to be awarded my cashback. I'd only use again if they were cheaper than the others any way and the cashback was a bonus.

	Don't bother. They don't pay cashback at all and then you have to pay 3 months ins before you can claim a missing transaction, but topcashback won't allow a claim to be submitted manually after 100 days. Not good service from either Hastings or tcb by the timings and the non-tracking. Should have got £45, won't be fooled by them again!

	Avoid. There is no option to click through and purchase online. You are obliged to phone the company, therefore cashback can not be tracked.

	still trying to get cash back of £58 from car insurence taken out in april. from the reviews here it appears this merchant has no intention of paying out the cash back therefore they are getting business from this site under false pretences. i feel that this merchant should be removed from top cash back. i could of got my insurence cheaper had i known that the cash back would not be paid.

	Why do we bother? Just filled in the quote form for home insurance - get a reasonable quote - then find I have to 'phone to buy - so no cashback. Luckily I have some time before I need to renew but I think this company, and others simply put up a big cashback 'carrot' knowing that most people haven't the time to start all over again.

	I was unaware of the 100 day limit when pursuing the no show of my cashback so have lost out £35, the main reason why I chose this merchant. Needless to say I will NOT be renewing my home insurance with this company. Reading the above comments they ought to be thrown out of this website.

	Agree with the other posters, this company use the most feeble excuses not to pay out. Got insurance in January just heard that they are not paying it! Usual weak excuses. Not using cashback sites anymore either, just not worth the hassle. Neither will I be using any company related to Hastings now or in the future.

	Update. Did eventually get pay out 7 months later after a lot of chasing. But this was negated by lack of clarity in the policy which cost me more to put right. It is not worth reling on just cashback, check the policy price is good value as well in case things go wrong. Dont use this merchant, and any way it is a brokeridge for a company I never heard of who were poor in what they covered.

	Utter waste of time. Hastings/Insure.co.uk refuse to pay out the cashback. Policy has been in force for 10 months now! Top cashback copnfirmed it tracked correctly. So its Hastings refusing to pay. Don't bother is my advice!

	Was sent my policy with another customers car insurance policy within my envelope - contained all of the customers personal information, bit worried that they aren't that careful with customer data :(

	I would be very careful before using this organisation. They gave me a policy and when details came through they had missed claim details - I put them on the original quote (although they insist I didnt. This meant I had to additional premium - which made them totally uncompetitive. Make sure you pring off your quote details before you submit you agreement to go ahead. But Steer Clear to be honest. Dread to think what it will be like if I make a claim.
