Seem to be able to try to take money back out of your account without having made a transaction with them. Customer services not really helping as just getting stock answers which do not relate to the actual problem. Be aware.

Completely frustrating shopping experience the advertised discount code for online purchase cannot be used with 'collect from store' the delivery charges then negate the savings from the discount.

Even though I met all the terms and conditions of Homebase they still did not pay the cashback that was owed. I was informed by topcashback that the decision of Homebase was final and that there was nothing more they could do.

I waited for well over a year for Homebase to then fail to pay as they eventually decided that they couldn't trace my orders. They managed to trace the orders sufficiently to charge my credit card at the time! IMO their Customer Service is appalling.

One year after placing an order and after endless chasing, Homebase have declined to give any cashback and have also declined to give any reason for this. I wish I could give them zero star.

Contrary to recent posters & surprisingly it seems I received payable cashback from Homebase the other day. I wasn't expecting to receive anything at all so hopefully the remaining larger pay out comes through after all.

I've now been waiting for well over a year for any cash back from Homebase. The goods were delivered to the wrong address by Homebase so they delivered them to a local store instead. We then had to collect in store but the store lost the goods and took 2 hours to locate them. A complete and utter shambles.

I have never had a problem with receiving cashback from Homebase always tracks then goes straight to payable give or take within the estimated timescales. People only tend to leave feedback when their experience is negative hence all the angry comments

I have just received a claim response that says my cashback claim has been declined by Homebase with no specific reason given. This is my second purchase from Homebase via topcashback with the same result. In total £19.96 of cashback has been declined with no reason given. By all means purchase from Homebase if you need the item but do not factor in receiving cashback because it is likely to be declined in my experience.

Cashback did not track for me on reserve & collect order but it was such a small amount not worth lodging a claim. When I went to pick up my purchase I had to wait while the 3 members of staff at the collection point were all trying to remove a security tag from a product for another customer they cut it off eventually. The customer returned before I was served to return it as the equipment inside the case was water damaged! Probably why the tag could not be removed absolutely shocking customer service.

Unfortunatley Homebase wouldn't pay out my cashback. They said they couldn't trace my transaction. I do find this hard to believe as I gave order number, dates,product name etc.

Spent over £200 and cashback didn't track, put in claim and have now had final decision after 6 months of waiting - cashback will NOT be paid...there is no reason why it shouldn't be paid so I can only conclude that they don't really want to pay cashback and don't have to give any reason as to why it is refused...Please don't rely on cashback from Homebase as it likely won't be paid - spend your money elsewhere. As always, TCB staff did all they could but perhaps they should start to look at removing companies that consistently take us for a ride...

I have been with Topcashback for quite a few years now,and i have to say that HOMEBASE IS THE WORST culprit for declining cash back .I will not purchase through this merchant ever again .I should have listened to the previous members .Please take notice of the reviews. their on here to help us all ,me included.

Reading other peoples reviews I wonder why people are giving 5 stars! I have not read one review that says cashback has been paid, everyone has had the cashback go to £0 on being made payable! Why do topcashback keep this merchant? They are conning people into beliving they are going to get cashback then make up some excuse as to why it's been declined! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

I will never use homebase again this is the 3rd time I've spent over £50 on collect from store and have had the cashback declined at the last minute. B&Q are slightly more expensive which is why I tend to pick homebase but at the end of the day if you don't get the cashback it's no cheaper!

First shop with Homebase worked fine and I got cashback for reserve and collect order. 2nd reserve and collect order tracked fine for months and now suddenly been changed to £0 cashback. No explanation as to why my cashback amount has been removed.

I will never order online from Homebase again. They ignored my emails, delivery hours are ridiculous, give wrong delivery dates, and the worst is their lack of customer service. I've had a horrible experience ordering from them that's put me right off them!
