The booking and hotel were fine. However no cash back registered so I lodged a claim with Top Cashback. They had all the records of my booking and efficiently passed the claim to Lastminute, who initially registered a reduced amount of cash back. Now, 6 weeks after my original booking the cash back claim has been rejected by Lastminute. I can see no reason for this and find it extremely annoying, especially as all other merchants I have used through Top cashback have responded well.

I booked a holiday through lastminute.com and while the holiday side has gone well, the cash back side has been a nightmare. It didn't track first time but to their credit TCB chased this up for me and after a couple of weeks, it got allocated. The merchant then 'unapproved it' (for no reason I can find), and the amount dropped from £167 to £0 so I have put another missing claim through. TCB have been doing everything they can so can't blame them at all. Hope it finally gets resolved.

had the best price for a **** hotel in London so already a bargain. got about 10% of the ex vat price back. didn't automatically track so had to nudge topcashback after a month and received payment after 4 months but it's essentially free money.

i have used this site a few times for hotels and i can say discounts are fantastic and cashback is at a good rate never ha d aproblem

You have to watch their tracking (of 4 purchases made, only one ever tried automatically) but if you lodge a ticket then they confirm fairly quickly and I got a payout about 3 months after my visit.

Refused my Cashback claim despite the order number being correct. They said it was incorrect & the claim was invalid! Not so! The hotel booked through them was fine, but not impressed with Lastminute's response. Beware!

From reading other reviews I must just be unlucky. I purchased flights and a hotel in September through lastminute as as yet on the 6th December still have had no cashback even showing on my account! Not a great experience for me.

I tried - unsuccessfully - to book £380 value of hotel breaks in Brighton to recieve 7.7% cashback. Everytime I got to the final page a red notice dictating "error we are experiencing technical difficulties" came up. I rang lastmniute direct who were most unhelpful and had't even heard of Topcashback ,and certainly would not offer the £25 cash discount by booking direct. I tried for three days, spoke to whatever level of management I could get to, and am still waiting for a call back to explain to THEM how topcashback works, 3 days later....NEVER AGAIN GGRRR

ordered two double bed rooms for my boyfriend and i to have one and our friend and his girlfriend to have the other. seemed simple enough until we got to our separate rooms to find each room was filled with 4 single beds (2 sets of bunk beds)! so we ended up with 8 beds for the four of us and had we known we wouldn't have a double bed we would have just booked the one room and saved ourselves money! had no time to resolve the problem either as we were on our way to a show and when we got back the receptionist was useless. probably the fault of the hotel (hostel!) and not lastminute but still caused upset for our nice trip away!

Arrived at hotel to find that Lastminute.com had not forwarded our booking. Hotel was full. Fortunatley I had printed a copy of our confirmation email and the hotel manager did some juggling with another hotel to sort us out.
