This is not a very good retailer online. I fully reccomend there stores, but its not worth the cashback. I ordered a hard drive recorder, the first was faulty, so I sent it back and requested another. Long story but the end is I got four faulty units before just requesting a refund. There customer servies online is not good at all. There stores however are fantastic, its a total contrast, so I would fully reccomend giving the cashback a miss on this one!

A minor problem with the product but, as bought on line, this led to difficulties getting it put right. I ended up having to take it back to a local Maplins store to get a solution as the lady on the telephone didn't understand the problem. I was trying to avoid a shlep to the shop by buying on line...

I am very disappointed that I am still waiting - more than 3 months later - for my purchase from Maplin to track. I will not buy anything else from Maplin until this is processed.

I've used Maplin for many years and I've always been happy with the quality of service. Items get shipped out very quickly. Not always the cheapest, but have become more competitive and they stock a wide range of hard-to-find goods.
