It was a wonderful experience with TCB. Tracked within a couple of hours. Though the payment was delayed by a month (from the anticipated date), it was worth the wait.
Just had £111.10 into my bank account. Thanks TCB.
Even the switching process was very efficient and there has not been a single instance of any issue so far with SP. Tariff is definitely the best for me.
I recommend switching to SP through TCB

My switchover to Scottish Power went through without any problems in mid-January. Cashback confirmed but not yet payable but I guess it will get there slowly. I recommended a friend who is also a TCB member as he was keen to switch to SP on-line saver 9 which came out as his best option, however he had the same experience as a previous member - there was no mention of on-line saver 9 via TCB site but when I filled in the same quotation for him on Scottish Power's own website it brought up Saver 9 as the best option!! Strange. So for the present time he'll stick with British Gas.

switch to scottish power went smoothly apart from british gas trying to overcharge us for our final meter reading. Cashback has finally just become payable, 2 months after it was meant to.

This came out as the best value for me but as an existing customer I could not get this deal. I did however get it for my dear old mum as her supplier had put her on a rotten deal when her fixed deal finished in Nov so now everyones happy.

Similar here, tracked on 13/11/09 then confirmed, still waiting. Just wondering if its a CON to get you to sign up. Have been with SP since 22/12/09 even started paying DD.
If its not here soon I will cancel and not be paying any get out clauses either.
Cant even get topcashback to do anything for me, they just say " wait " lol

Still waiting, was confirmed in 11/09 and was supposed to become payable 31/12/09.
TopCashBack says to allow an extra month before getting in touch, but there is no was too get in touch.

PS to 'patfunk9'!! When you switch DO NOT cancel any direct debit with your old supplier until all is completed, they've taken / refunded any outstanding amounts, and the dust has settled!!! If you do canced d/d, your old supplier may insist on charging any outstanding gas/elect units at a very expensive 'not a direct debit customer' tariff. Go carefully, but go for it!

Signed-up 13/11/09 via TCB. My existing supplier do separate Gas & Elect contracts, but ScottishPower website couldn't cope - insisted it must be 'Dual Fuel' deal!
SP DEAL WITH WHOLE OF SWITCH (in answer to an earlier question) - all very simple for me, except some hiatus with meter reading held up Elect side of things.
Tracked ok, Payable Date est 31/12/09; but now 3 months later, and Transaction still stuck at 'Confirmed'.
Have asked TCB if I can expect the cash any time soon!
Let's hope they come up with the goods!!
