Dual fuel application became pending within days. Now looking forward to it becoming confirmed with a generous £122.40 cashback deal including 'top-ups'!

Hi there. I am in the process of going over to Scottish Power, yet the cashback amount is now showing as £0. Can you please investigate why this is? Thanks Kris

When I originally tried to switch to Scottish Power, the options listed excluded the one where I would have made a saving. However I went back in the following week and this had been corrected. Very easy transaction although initially tracked at previous week's cashback (£62.50) and not £120. I had to wait until I received confirmation from SP before submitting a enquiry,by which time the cashback had corrected itself. Hopefully the process will continue to be as smooth.

set about changing to scottish power on 19/12/09, tracked very quickly. Became confirmed quick too. My estimated payable date was 31/01/10. It became payable today 18/03/10. I think it's safe to say you won't receive your money until at least after you've made your first monthly direct debit payment to them for your dual fuel. I made my first payment to them on 01/03/10. £111.10 on it's way to my account...well happy.

These are great offers to put through with friends who aren't sure about the cashback sites, they switch to a supplier they want and i get the cash back. not a bad deal.

I signed up to Scottish power in the beginning of December. The transaction was tracked more or less instantly at £110 (+£1 topup). Changing the supplier was easy and took around 6 weeks. Cashback was scheduled to become payable on the 31st January...however, it took a further 2 months before it became payable, on the 17th March. I just requested the payment to my bank account. It took 1 1/2 months extra but considering the £110 i received it was well worth it!

I was one of the '1%' that failed to track and it has taken 4 months to become payable. Not impressed with Scottish Power. (I have also had problems with their actual dual fuel account)

I switched to Scottish Power on 14th December 1009 and after the transaction finally tracked (it took a week or more) the forecast payout was 31st January 2010. 31st January came and went with no £111.10 payout but TopCashBack told me to be patient and allow an extra month. 28th February was reached and still no payout so I sent TopCashBack another message. They now say I have to give Scottish Power till the end of March and that it is usual for there to be a long delay in cashback payouts by power companies (to deter switching too often they say). However all my other cashback from December has long since tracked and been paid out to my bank account. Scottish Power seem to want to lure you in with the £110 cashback promise but then hold out on paying the cashback for months on end. Very shoddy behaviour. I won't be using this energy supplier again for this reason and a host of others with doing the dirty in terms of price to any customers who remain loyal to them over several years.

Another supplier gone to zero... I only registered end of Feb for the £110/120? cashback and its already gone to payable as zero, despite me conforming to their conditions...! That's over £150 this year not gone through in casback. After a successful year last year I'm feeling disheartened...

All going well. Just been in contact with current supplier and confirmed account close date of 22.03.10 and 3 weeks after that I should be switching over and set up with s.p. So, the £55 cashback payment was tracked on my account with a payout date of 31.03.10. Crunch time! I am anticipating a payout date of no later than mid-April if there are any delays. I have a few tracked payments on my tcb account since joining in early Feb and have had problems particularly with Morethan, but this will seemingly be my first payout now. Lets see if I am honoured the £55 cashback offer I was quoted at the point of sale. All signs are good and I'll let y'all know the outcome by mid/end of April. Then it's straight off to speak directly to morethan!

Tracked at right amount and very quickly, all seems to be progressing ok too so quite pleased at this but will be curious to see how quickly it becomes payable.
