I cannot get cashback becasue following the cashback link to the retailer takes you to the following broken page: Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a customErrors tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This customErrors tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

Showing as pending within 24 hours. Was easy to apply online for new supplier and cheapest per comparison sites.

Started the switching process to SP last night. CB tracked already with correct amount. From similar switches in the past, I expect this to take a while before paying out.

Did anyone else's track quickly but at £0.00? If so was it then uplifted to the correct amount?

Point blank refused to pay out. Transaction was apparently "cancelled or returned". Hmm funny considering ive been on a contract for the last 9 months. typical of energy companies.

Finally heard back that Scottish Power have now declined my claim, after 7 months - they say 'my order was cancelled'. Well they've been quite happy to take my monthly direct debit and supply me gas/elec all this time so I'm not at all happy. I won't trust them again on cashback.

Been waiting for my Cashback since January 2012 and have just found out that it's not being paid. Apparently Scottish Power say my account was 'cancelled or returned'. It'd be funny if it weren't for the fact that they're still supplying my gas and electricity. Won't be letting this one lie.

Still waiting for cashback to track after 7 months and several nudges to TCB. I see cashback as a bonus and don't include it in any decision to choose a supplier - but I'd be very wary of Scottish Power in the future.

Switched in November 2011. Estimated payment date 29 February 2012. Mid May and still not been paid. TopCashback not interested and just told me to wait. Very dissatisfied.

Cashback showed as pending within an HOUR of switching! Switched mid-April, cashback due to clear by July for £42.42. I did as TCB recommended and cleared cookies pre-site visit.Do this for all larger cbk claims to ensure no tracking issues.

Poor service. Been with them for 4 months now (paid 3 direct debits) and no sign of the cashback at all. Still showing as pending. Obviously, not the only reason to switch, but certainly doesn't engender much customer loyalty.

if you are thinking of switching to scottish power beware,i switched to them last august and due to them setting my direct debit too high, after less than 6 months i was around £200 in credit which i asked for (in january)in the form of a refund .this was my first experience of their customer service (or lack of it)and i am still waiting and after exchange of numerous e-mails have reported them to relevant consumer bodies for their appalling incompetence.

Scottish Power did not let me down. Cashback tracked and was paid quickly. Their customer service is one of the best for an utilities company.

I have just been informed by Scottish power customer services that if I buy directly from, them the rate is better by 1p! per unit than with top cashback! Since eg my use solely on electricity being 4000+ units on average a year, that is a a saving of £40+ per year just on electricity! So do your research first ok

Switched supplier to Scottish Power in March 2011 and have now had confirmation that Scottish Power will not be honouring the claim (£80). To top it all Scottish Power have taken an increased monthly fee, i'm in credit by £400 and they are slow to pay this back - have rung the customer service about the cash-back and refund and they are unhelpful and say they cannot help regarding the cash-back. Steer clear would be my advice unless they are offering you cheaper gas & electric by a large margin. I swapped due to them being slightly cheaper plus the cashback then made it worth the switch - how wrong I was. That said Topcashback have been very good in helping resolve the issue and in the end its not their fault Scottish power have not honoured their deal.
