As others have said below problems with cashback. The transaction did not track properly and from the wording it appears that SixT themselves do not bother to respond. I waited patiently but nothing, only after bombarding with messages and nudges did Topcashback themselves responded and that took 9 months from the original hire. Avoid.

The deal was good value anyway the cashback made it excellent value. However the cash back was not received within the time scale quoted, but this was possibly because the payout is that many weeks after the hire, rather than after payment. Was disappointed with the car allocated though, which was not really a Golf equivalent and service was very slow.

Car hire experience with Sixt always very good. Cashback experience terrible. Have made many rentals the majority of which have been declined although TCB did manage to retrieve a couple of payments owing. Currently three cashbacks owing, some long-term, and despite many nudges nothing seems to be happening. I think Sixt should not be listed as offering cashback in view of the negative reviews.

Everything was straight forward via TCB, and hired car with no problems BUT cashback still declined. I have normally had very good experiences with SIXT cars, but this cashback decline is annoying.

Terrible! Declined my cashback for no reason. AVOID! Use a broker or another rental company. Sixt isn't any cheaper.

Did everything right.
Car was returned and inspected with no problems.
Got the conformation email that there was no extra charges.
30 days later the payment has been declined for no reason.

BEWARE. Minor scratches are recorded and they cannot tell you the amount of the repair. They have 5000 Euro on your credit card and you do not know how much they are charging. The office you rent from can not provide the paperwork needed for an insurance claim. NOTHING BUT FRUSTRATION. You are at their mercy and they have none.
Dublin airport office is in unorganized. Not helpful and sends you to some other office. Do not use them. I have no idea what I am being charged so I have no idea how close to the limit I am on my credit card. Hope I make it home

7 months and counting since I rented the car, and still no cashback. Topcashback refuse to contact Sixt to pursue payment.

Although the actual car rental was fine, the cashback has taken nearly a year to come through!
Sixt obviously are the main culprit in this and it really reflects badly on them. However, with so much negative comment on this merchant, tcb also have a responsibility - isn't it time they just refused to deal with them?
