Waste of time, I’ve purchased two items that were all quite expensive and it sounded good to get the cashback. 40 days later I’ve finally been told two of the items have declined, why do I bother. No explantation as to why. So yeah I’ve given up and will stop using

I lost hope in Sony and Sony Cashback offer, I am changing make. I am returning to my old Nikon, never had a single issue with Nikon, Nikon doesn’t lose value as Sony, probably not the best mirror less but I am sure soon they will come with something newer and better. So BYE BYE SONY. KEEP YOUR CASHBACK. ??

I've purchased a lot from Sony over the last few years, never had an issue with cash back tracking or reaching payable. My most recent transaction took less than 2 months before moving to payable (before "Faster Paying" was introduced)

Cashback tracked within seconds: the fastest I have ever experienced! It was rather less than I had expected, since they don't pay cashback on the amount of the VAT.

Purchased a Sony Vaio E series laptop on the 25 Oct 11, cashback tracked within a day. Cashback was paid on 21 Feb 2012. So it took a few months but received it in the end.

Ordered laptop for a christmas present, delivery date 4 - 6 weeks so we knew when ordering it, it wouldnt arrive in time, then on 23rd December the store (Lincoln Sony) rang and asked if it was a present if yes they had located one in another store which we could have and it arrived on the 28th December. They really went out of their way to help, great service, Well Done Lincoln Sony

Follow-up of my original comment. Cashback has now been paid so for any of you unsure whether Sony do pay (or not) should take confidence in my experience which was fantastic. I'm really happy with the product, the experience and the amount of cashback received from Sony (£30 for a £490 laptop bought from their outlet store). Thanks again, Sony.

Bought a great laptop at an amazing price. Even better if the generous cashback comes through. Cashback came through within hours of purchase but I just wonder how long I wait before I receive it. However, I'm over the moon with my new laptop and have to thank Sony for that.

it was my first vaio purchase. disappointed with both the laptop and the cashback! 9 months on and the laptop packed up. within warranty period but sony citing clauses to get out of repairing it. no cashback either. will never buy from sony again. very disappointed!

9 months on and no cashback. Dont believe this will ever be paid. Since this is know to top cashback cannot understand why they are still offering Sony as a merchant. Dont buy from Sony if you are expecting to get cash back. It simply wont happen.

Topcashback, As it has been common knowledge for some time that Sony are not paying their cashback. Why is there not a large warning on the merchant page? are their plans is place to remove Sony from TCB?
Topcashback is of course a website for its members not its merchants, so we should get priority.
People say do not make a purchase decision on the likely cashback. If that is the case, there is no point at all for a website like TCB to exist.
