I bought home contents insurance with Swinton (I work, my boyfriend is about to become a paid PhD student) and it allowed my application and payment to go through, but when my paperwork arrived they had changed my boyfriends details. I called to change them back and was told they do not insure students (even though it allowed me to pay for the policy online). However if you are not a student then they give an ok customer service from my experience.

Received policy promptly but unfortunately details were wrong and the prepaid envelope for the direct debit return details was not included. Poor attention to detail.
Received new documents and envelope two days after phoning them but cashback has still not registered on my account over a week after initializing the policy.
