Update from - 27 Jun 2012. Cashback has only come through at £20, so have had to make a claim to increase it. It was later increased to £40.40 and became confirmed on 14/08/12. It became payable today and I am very happy. As for the service from TalkTalk, that has been pretty good. I left Virgin and took a gamble on TalkTalk because of the high charges and sneaky way Virgin kept reducing my loyalty bonus. Service is just as good and online bill information is excellent compared to Virgins minimal info. The ability to add and remove boosts a month at a time is also handy. Hopefully all will remain okay, in which case I'm glad I went to TalkTalk.

Well as time went on, my star rating for TalkTalk broadband changed a lot:
On the day of broadband transfer it was 5 star. My speed went up from 8.1Mb to 19.2Mb and the down time was minutes.
NB:You will have to manually add your CallerID service back after you go live. Seems strange cause it's free - but it's not automatically added.
NNB:If you have a BT homehub 2 - just ignore the router TT send you. The HH works perfectly well, without changing a thing. This saves you setting up your wireless all over again. Plus you can carry on using the HH as a DECT base station.
The cashback tracked at 50 instead of £65, so the rating dropped to 4 star.
When the first bill arrived it was wrong - I paid for line rental in advance but still got charged full rate over again. Plus the discount package rate wasn't applied. Now 3 star.
4 calls to the dire TT customer service line, who can do no right. Rating now minus 1 star.
Rating finally and grudgingly increased back to 2 star (assuming that the cashback will come through). They have finally sorted out a couple of goodwill payments (leaving me £1.50 up!) but locked in for 14 months, not 12.
I have to admit that the actual service is really excellent, and very cheap. Shame if you want an accurate bill though, more chance of West Brom for the Premiership title.

The cashback for this merchant did not track correctly and took about three months to rectify. Top Cashback were great and kept me upto date with progress. The amount of cashback received was a good sum so worth the effort.

12weeks and counting
No cashback yet its been confirmed but isn't payable a bit annoyed as it states 8weeks come on talk talk and topcash back sort this out

Took 6 to 9 Months to track and payout and had to raise a manual claim to get it to track but did then receive the full amount within 90 days

The broadband itself is fantastic, quick connection and great speeds. The estimated cashback wait is 19 weeks, and now 22 weeks after signing up I'm still waiting so beware if you choose them for the cashback deal
