Scam! Very angry with how I have been treated. To start with, clicking the Topcashback link was actually £5 a month more expensive than going direct to BT (bear this in mind when you sign up!)! I weighed up the options - the cashback was slightly more than the £60 a year I would be overcharged by BT by clicking through Topcashback, so decided to proceed. Fast forward - upon checking I noticed my payout had been declined. Lodged a claim and waited. And waited. Nothing. Finally delving into part of the Topcashback website I noticed they had sent me a message (not obvious I had one) a month previous. The email asked for information I had already given, including a VOL number. I was never given a VOL number, from checking with BT at the time of the original claim it is allocated to people who have booked by phone only, so not applicable to me. By the time I noticed and messaged back Topcashback they have now told me it is outwith the 3 months as stated in the offers terms. So to summarise - I am now £60 out of pocket through using Topcashback compared to going direct to BT. They stalled by asking for information that was not applicable in my case and to repeat what I had already given when I lodged a claim, then gave me no obvious notification that they had replied to my claim or that buried in the small print the claim needs to be completed within 3 months. Topcashback should be ashamed doing business with this bunch of scammers, jacking up prices by £60 a year through Topcashbacks "cashback" links.

Hi there,
We do need members to get in touch with us if they see that going through us leads to higher pricing as this shouldn’t be happening. A transaction can get declined for a few different reasons and if you contact our customer care team they will be more than happy to talk you though these with you.
Best wishes,
TopCashback Support
