The easy application process also comes in for praise in Hastings Direct Car Insurance review feedback, as does their good customer service, while one member says they were very helpful following an accident. take care with this one, I went all the way through their quote which took 10 minutes, and at the end their site said they wanted to talk about it so I would have to call. That means my policy would not qualify for cashback. There is nothing unusual about the quote, married couple, both over 60 with 9+ years NCB, no convictions etc. Car garaged, low annual mileage. Other compare sites come up with their quote without problems, it only seems to be cashback that is the issue.

This company seem to delay payment longer than I would have expected. I took out a policy in Sept & believe I have to wait for four months for it to be confirmed. I understand why but possibly needs reviewing.

Ifonly Took out 2 policies at once. Only one registered for £40 cashback. Topcashback logged lost claim !!!. Spoke to Hastings customer services who lost interest in correcting mistake, seems they dont know who in their office deals with TCB claims. Both agree in principle with my claim. My advise is do not do multiple purchases at the same time to avoid costly disappointment.

Oh please dont go anywhere near this insurer. I have had cause to speak with the Financial Ombudsman re them and they immediately told me that they have many complaint against this company. Their customer service is disgusting. Just avoid.

Ater I had purchased my car insurance from Hastings, I was informed 2 months later that I needed to provide evidence of my no claims bonus. I had destroyed my previous documents and therefore had no evidence to provide.

My cashback tracked as "£0" straight away and now I'm having to go through the houses, providing bits of details, to confirm this - even though I had my insurance policy documents through weeks ago. Wouldn't have bought from them knowing this was going to happen.

Absolutely do not waste your time completing the Hastings Direct quotation, you will simply be asked to call them after supplying all the information online. I telephoned them as requested and after listening to a all the pre-recorded rubbish and making the various selections I was disconnected without speaking to anyone. they are a great example of how not to run a business, do they really sell insurance?

Avoid like the plague,purchased car insurance in May 2011,didnt track,nudged tcb they sent me email saying to wait while Sept 2011.Now tracked at 0.00,wont be entertaing Hastings with any more of my hard earned. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Hastings asked more questions than any insurance company over the past 35 years driving. Worse still once completing the massive online questions you are asked to telephone their operator who will find you the best details. If you don't want to waste a good hour or more stay away from their website.

I bought car insurance from them in April. It tracked straight away, and turned payable four months later. Slightly longer than it said, but at least it all worked smoothly without me having to chase anything. (Unlike Endsleigh, but that's another story!)
