Hopeless at paying out. I paid and stayed at a hotel in January 2014. I booked through hotels.com. The cash back was confirmed in late spring but no pay out...until I complained to topcashback in October (that's 9 months after I completed the transaction). Bless them, topcashback quickly paid the cash back to me themselves given how poor hotels.com has been at (not) paying up. I shall AVOID hotels.com for hotel bookings in the future. So, my thoughts are big respect to topcashback and a thumbs down for hotels.com.

Used to be great with Topcashback which was I used them, but now ridiculously slow. Still waiting on payment for a stay in May 14, and it's now Oct 14. Plus getting the occasional decline for no obvious reason. Will use a different supplier from now on.

Cashback used to track without fail. The last 3 occasions, it didn't track, but I did a support ticket, and 2 out of the 3 have been confirmed/payable. The 3rd one was declined - I have no idea why, other than it may have been because 1 or my 3 nights stay was using a 'welcome reward' free night. Therefore if you are wanting to use a 'welcome reward' night, I advise you to book that night separately. 10% cashback is good though when you get it, and welcome rewards on top of that is even better.

First transaction tracked with hotels.com - subsequent ones didn't and am still waiting from April 2014 to get a response from the retailer for a two week stay in Florida. Have since moved to another provider for my hotel needs as a result.

A complete waste of time. The cashback tracked almost straight away but, after waiting six months, I was told it had been declined. I chose to book with Hotels.com over other accommodation websites because of the cashback deal but I have learnt my lesson and won't be using it again.

Hotels.com declined my cash back because the hotel I booked (Millennium in Gloucester Road, London) moved my booking to their inferior hotel annex next door. The whole experience was sneaky and I was left feeling totally let down by both the hotel group and the booking site.

Hotels.com cashback is terrible - having an awful time trying to claim some money back from them. They no longer track, when i raise claim they do not pay the correct amount. i have about 10 unclaimed cashbacks from hotels.com - some dating back from 2013. Not happy with this at all - I recommend do not use!

One declined cashback claiming TCB were not the identified referrer and another one not tracked and now has to be submitted manually. Will not use again. Seems a recurrent theme in the hotels industry that cashback very rarely tracks when I very rarely have problems with ticket-booking sites or other more reputable websites. Should not be trying to mislead customers to book with you if you can't stick to your end of the bargain. Absolutely disgusting.

Sits pending for a few weeks after your stay, then stays confirmed for a few more weeks after that, but in the end it's always paid for me.

spent 700 quid and received nothing in return. thats 8 months i have been waiting. Boooo Hotels.com. have been nudging with no avail, will no longer be using this service

I have been booking on hotels.com via TopCashback for years. The level of cashback is always an incentive, it always tracks and the payment always goes through. Highly recommended.

Booked and stayed in February 2014, cashback didn't track and despite raising a claim I am still waiting, very annoyed as they are still advertising 10.5%, but I wouldn't book with Hotels.com again

Not happy - Been waiting for months for my cashback from these guys now, all of the stays have been completed sent several nudges but nothing is happening. At first hotels.com were great with paying cashback, getting nothing now. I hope this changes!

I have booked two separate orders with Hotels.com through Top Cash Back in the last 6 months (one in December, one in January). One of these bookings was successfully tracked but has not been confirmed by Hotels.com; the other has not shown to be tracked and the Cashback Claim lodged in January has had no effect! Definitely would not recommend.

I booked with hotels.com due to the good cashback. However, it's been 3 weeks now since I've fulfilled the booking (i.e - stayed at the hotels that I booked), and the site still didn't confirm my cash back.

I had no problems with the booking (hotel) itself. But I had to manually submit a cashback claim, and it is still "waiting for merchant" after I bought it back in July (for a stay in August 2013). I've sent nudges. That's about 7-8 months! Not impressed!

Hotels.com use to be good eventhough a little slow with cashback payments. However, since november last year, I havent had any payable amount from them. There's about £100 still not payable. Which in turn has resulted in the above scores.

I have used hotels.com numerous times for short stays and recently 5 seperate stays all declined cashback for no apparent reason. Others still not confirmed months after the stay is completed. Not worth the hassle in my opinion.

One of, if not the best to deal with on here. Cashback tracks almost instantly any pays very quick after your stay. Plus they have a rewards scheme... stay 10 nights get one free.
