Cashback not registered
I made a hotel reservation through the correct link and the cashback amount was not recorded! I will cancel the reservation if don't show up in the next few days.

Dreadful company.
I feel as though I am ignored and they are reluctant to pay out. Why go on listing them? It shouldn’t be so hard to earn the advertised amount through you. Shame on Hotels.com.

Not paid!
Despite having a screen shot of accessing hotels.com that was time stamped and a screen shot of the booking confirmation just minimum later the cash back was declined on 2 bookings so I lost out on around £100 of expected payment! No appeals process - don’t expect to get paid!

Total rubbish
7 of the last 9 reviews report declined cashback from the merchant, this is because they are dishonest and don’t honour their cashback promise. TCB complicit in this also, especially when the reviews show how many people are being taken for a ride. All other cashback on every other purchase I ever makes always tracks and is paid out, yet Hotels.com successfully decline a payout for nearly £500. Im livid.

Avoid at all costs - nothing but problems over transfer to One Key
I have now had 2 occasions when a large amount of cashback has been declined because of a system problem with Hotels.com incorrectly changing my account to their new One Key system a few months ago and then changing me back again. I've had it with Hotels.com and I'm refusing to use them again. If I could give zero stars I would

Cashback is not always paid according to the offers as advertised. I use this retailer quite a lot and often have to raise a claim to get the cashback I think should be payable. I am not always successful. Maybe I do not understand the offers or maybe there are some hidden conditions that I do not see.

Don't Believe The Hype
I have been turned down so many times by hotels.com even though i've followed all the correct procedures. Recently cancelled a trip and rebooked it through another booking agent to make sure i got the cashback.

Dishonourable
In my opinion they are a dishonourable company, did not track cashback and refused that the order number even existed. Thankfully TopCashback CS team are fantastic. Ordered a scammy hotel through them too, so I would never use them again, refused money back and impossible to deal with their customer service (lack of)

Failed Cashback
Did not track, opened a claim but cashback was denied three months later due to TCB not being the 'last referrer' I had done the usual process of clearing cookies and it's tracked/paid out for all other merchants. Won't use TCB again for this merchant.

I have made two payments through topcashaback for hotels.com and both times the company does not register even though there was a topcashback banner when paying. Which has meant that I have. lost out on hundreds of pounds.

Poor
Not for the first time, hotels.com transactions have failed to track and they have subsequently refused to pay out, despite me doing everything by the book. The reasonable cashback is a key reason for using them in the first place, seeing as though they don't honour the transactions I will take my business elsewhere in future.

Wouldn't risk booking with Hotels.com again. Hotel accomodation booked in Jan, no changes or amendments, holidayed in April. And now they've officially declined it. What a waste of time.

Pays out but check the Price!
Paid out after two months (as expected). TIP: check the price.. was often HIGHER via TCB than going direct? -often showed differant prices (even when tracking cookies are cleared) >>TIP: Hotel & Experia are now the same company but offer DIFFERANT rooms types.. eg price on hotels included breakfast; upon check-in arrival for the 'same' cheaper price via Expedia had deleted the breakfast option.. Cheeky! Hotels (currently) get you overnight 'credits' worth checking the redemption value verusus the slightly higher price. ((though this is about to change for a new cross-ownership scheme called 'Keys'))

Does track but often at the wrong rates
Unlike Scotrail my purchases with hotels.com do seem to track. The issue is the cashback amount is never correct so have had to submit claims for it everytime.

Inconsistent rates
On 3 of the last 10 occasions we have booked through Hotels.com they have paid a much lower rate than advertised resulting in us losing almost £150 in cashback. We have put in claims and heard nothing.
