Long wait
You have to wait way longer than they claim you should expect payment. Months longer in my experience.

DO NOT USE! They will decline all cashback. (SCAM)
Do NOT use Hotels.com with Topcashback. Even though they always appear on the home page with special offers they won’t pay you any cashback. 3 different transactions were declined even though I followed all the correct procedures. I have complained to Topcashback to investigate this scam. Look for alternative options to avoid disappointment.

Declining all cashback from July
I am a very regular customer of Hotels.com and over the last two days all of my pending cashback from July onwards has been declined with no explanation. I have lodged tickets to try and find out why but Top Cashback need to follow this up with Hotels.com and explain to their customers why they are doing this. I will not use hotels.com if they continue to mislead their customers.

Pending payment for over 6 months!
Still not received cashback from hotels.com Pending for 6 months so far, no update. Reviews leave me with little hope that I will receive this which is frustrating because it was the only reason I booked through hotels.com

Reviews told me what to expect!
3 separate transactions with Hotels.com via TopCashback all rejected!! After reading reviews this seems a common outcome….show big discounts get the order then don’t payout! Hopefully anyone reading this can avoid a similar outcome and shop elsewhere

What's the point?
Surprise, Surprise! Hotels.com were due to pay me £70 cashback so, inevitably, they wriggled out of, just like insurers, looking for a loophole to avoid paying out. I did the entire transaction through Top Cashback and, guess what: "not identified as the last transaction". So, having waited for months and months, I get nowt. Squat. I do not recommend this shower, certainly not in terms of cashback. DO NOT factor cashback into your budgeting - you're unlikely to get it. Thoroughly cheesed off.

Love Hotels.com
Booked multiple stays through site and get back good bonuses through cash back. Love Hotels.com as easy to use and has a vast amount of properties to choose from. Only gripe is seems to take a long time to receive payment and don’t understand why different stays are paid at different times, even when part of the same trip, example, Poole-Jersey-Sark-Geurnsey (3 days after each other), at this time only one stay paid? Frustrating!

Don't think they're going to pay me
Purchase tracked back in JANUARY. Allegedly 10 weeks to come through. Now 6 months + later, money still showing as pending.

It works
Even though the payout takes ridiculously long - I got my payout and am happy with the service. Hotels.com com does take a long time to payout, but so do others.

Dreadful company.
I feel as though I am ignored and they are reluctant to pay out. Why go on listing them? It shouldn’t be so hard to earn the advertised amount through you. Shame on Hotels.com.

Not paid!
Despite having a screen shot of accessing hotels.com that was time stamped and a screen shot of the booking confirmation just minimum later the cash back was declined on 2 bookings so I lost out on around £100 of expected payment! No appeals process - don’t expect to get paid!

Total rubbish
7 of the last 9 reviews report declined cashback from the merchant, this is because they are dishonest and don’t honour their cashback promise. TCB complicit in this also, especially when the reviews show how many people are being taken for a ride. All other cashback on every other purchase I ever makes always tracks and is paid out, yet Hotels.com successfully decline a payout for nearly £500. Im livid.

Avoid at all costs - nothing but problems over transfer to One Key
I have now had 2 occasions when a large amount of cashback has been declined because of a system problem with Hotels.com incorrectly changing my account to their new One Key system a few months ago and then changing me back again. I've had it with Hotels.com and I'm refusing to use them again. If I could give zero stars I would

Cashback is not always paid according to the offers as advertised. I use this retailer quite a lot and often have to raise a claim to get the cashback I think should be payable. I am not always successful. Maybe I do not understand the offers or maybe there are some hidden conditions that I do not see.

Don't Believe The Hype
I have been turned down so many times by hotels.com even though i've followed all the correct procedures. Recently cancelled a trip and rebooked it through another booking agent to make sure i got the cashback.

Dishonourable
In my opinion they are a dishonourable company, did not track cashback and refused that the order number even existed. Thankfully TopCashback CS team are fantastic. Ordered a scammy hotel through them too, so I would never use them again, refused money back and impossible to deal with their customer service (lack of)
