Really overdue cashback
Cashback confirmed and due to be payable after 10 weeks, but still not payable after 23 weeks. Clearly not honouring their customer commitment. Will avoid Hotels.com in future.

Hotels.com are not paying out on transactions via topcashback.
So far I have used hotels.com via top cashback on all hotel purchases. So far about over 5 bookings post novembers 2023 are not tracked on Topcashback. Hotels.com say they cannot find the tranactions even though I have all orders and receipts with them from their website. I am a Gold Hotels.com member.

Will not use again
Used to use hotels.com regularly for all my bookings, we are frequent travellers. However last few times they have refused to track our stays, and have declined cashback. Won't use again and will opt to take our business elsewhere. Takes forever to pay put also, when they do track.

Beware - cashback always tracks low.
Cashback normally tracks ok, but always far too low (e.g. 1% instead of 10%). Make sure you monitor it and submit a manual claim within the 90 days if needed - I suspect this is a deliberate tactic by the tracking network, assuming that most people won't chase the claim.

Let down
Really let down by Hotels.com, was supposed to receive a good cashback amount, therefore the reason why I booked through them, however they have refused my claim saying they cannot find my booking. Despite me having all the emails from Hotels.com themselves and the hotel I stayed with, really disappointing and won’t use them again.

Still waiting for Cashback for Hotel Room
Booked a hotel room in Budapest in July 2023 through Hotels.com for an October break and I am still awaiting the cashback. Either it has been forgotten about or very very late in paying. Not Good!!

ZERO CASHBACK ON 2 OCCASSIONS
Booked December 2023 hotel in Malta - cashback of 12% failed to track and was refused after submitting my claim - could not trace it !
Again booked Malta hotel in March 2024 and again failed to track at the promised 12% - submitted claim and again came back as unable to trace.
So avoid - they were different hotels on Malta so interesting ....

Would not track cashback and struggling to get refund
Really poor experience from this merchant overall, had a bad stay booked through them, the cashback never tracked and they said "cannot find transaction" despite me having a receipt and providing the number from it, also they make it exceptionally difficult to get a refund - I'm still fighting for it and I'll take it further if I have to, but will definitely NEVER book with them again

Book when it's 20% cashback
Got a deal of 20% cashback and 10% off the hotels over Xmas & NY 23-24 of our All Inc hotel, also got an upgrade to a brilliant suite with VIP lounge access, nearly £850 cashback after the 10% discount. Not bad.

Regularly refused
I have used this site a number of times and always followed the correct process. I have been using Cashback sites for some years and hotels.com is the worst payer of Cashback. I thought it was simply they didn’t want to payout on the larger amounts (one for £200+ was refused last year without any explanation) but I also had one refused for £0.77 ! Simply, don’t take their Cashback into consideration when booking a hotel.

Booked hotels when a 12% cash back offer was advertised 3 items not tracked
Made a missing claim
Hotels.com declined even though I have email confirmation with booking reference
Top cash back failed to help with the claim
Asked for email address to contact both companies and they don’t even want to help
Why put offers on if you do not want to honour them ?

3 months to be told that my purchase can't be tracked
Purchase didn't show up in my account history, so I submitted a claim, provided proof that I had made the purchase within minutes of the click being registered. Hotels.com just said "no" and now TopCashback have refused to do anything about it. How convenient.

Will try to avoid in future
Took 5 months of them trying to only give me 2% when I knew I was due 10%. I had to keep pushing for the right amount and finally got there. Has taken up a lot of time. I'll defo try to avoid Hotels.com in future.
