15% paid quickly
Booked a stay with Iberostar through IHG - all tracked quickly. Was slightly nervous based on previous reviews but became payable around a week after I came home.
Only minor thing was it tracked with the price inc. VAT and paid 15% of the price exc. VAT.

It seems to be a recurring problem with IHG, the purchases track through right up to uplift....then declined for no reason, luckly TCB came through and offered a good will gesture but nothing like what was owed and not on the 2 previous purchases...i will stay clear of this merchant or maybe try another cashback site.

terrible
IHG never tracks and i have to manually raise a case every single time.
the website does not ask you to accept/reject cookies when you navigate from topcashback.
please fix it

Don't expect cashback
I clicked through to IHG on a new browser with no previous visit history, and purchased in the same session, so no issues with tracking at all. Order ID and purchase value provided, but surprise surprise, cashback was rejected. Don't bother using TCB as you won't get anything back.

THE least reliable company to give cashback
I've stayed with Iberostar several times with my family and every time, there is an issue with the cashback. I've worked in I.T. for 30 years, I know all about clicking on the right link, enabling cookies etc etc etc... but it's just this one company which always fails to pay out cashback, and on purchases of £2,000+, that's a large chunk of money lost each time. Avoid. Or book an Iberostar hotel via any other third-party website.

Cashback is good but always have to chase. Too much admin.
I can not complain about the hotels or cashback, any amount is always welcome. However I always have to chase and I often forget to do so. The admin time is not in proportion to cashback received.
The point of cashback, is it should be seamless with minimum interruption to your online shopping.

Like getting blood from a stone
IHG rarely track and when they do, never at the right amount. Proving your case every time is a struggle and I have transactions from a year and a half ago stuck on pending. Screenshot the cashback rate for evidence. The admin time of pursuing these claims really isn't worth booking through them - not even as a Platinum member with them. It's easier to use Expedia.

You won’t get the cashback
Stayed at a kimpton, expecting 8% cashback. They will not honour the cashback.. if i were you I would use a discount code and get discount when paying as that way its guaranteed.

Issue with the cashback being monitored
As soon as you select the dates for your booking and do a search, the cashback icon/extension seems to reset itself and does not track
Have tried in Chrome and Firefox
Firefox does the same but does seem to track the booking

I've booked many hotels with this retailer through TCB and 99% of transactions do not track automatically, I have to spend so much time sorting it out and am still sorting out payments from a year ago.
I booked nine transactions (each individually to make sure they tracked with TCB) on 5th November 23 totalling £4,804 and not one of them is showing on my account so I will have to go through the same drama again.
IHG have consistently not tracked in all the time I've been using TCB and they really need to sort their system out

The rate is lower than other places and it failed to track
The prices on their website are usually a bit lower than the more general websites but their cashback rate is also lower. In my case the transaction failed to track for some reason and I had to raise a ticket. After 7 months I finally got my cash back.
