Since Nov 2012 I have been waiting for £50.00 cash back and with lots of others on here I have not received it. I have chased every few months and been lied to by Legal and General and I feel that Top Cashback should REMOVE them from their site. All I see are people with the same comments - DO NOT USE!!!!!!! Feel let done by both TCB and Legal & General.....

Order tracked but never became payable. Lodged a claim and after 18 months they declared that the merchant had refused.

Cheap home insurance but got 0 cash-back despite buying a bona fide policy and running it for a full year. Transaction tracked at 0.00 then disappeared. Topcashback have been disputing this for 18 months, now today they have finally said the transaction isn't valid for 5 generic reasons, none of which are valid. Avoid

I waited over 15 months to get anywhere with this merchant and in the end they declined my cashback. The order didn't track, I submitted a claim, and TopCashback were waiting for what seemed forever for the merchant to get back to them. I hassled L&G on Twitter to sort it out and while I was told by them my claim would be processed, they didn't say that they would not be awarding any cashback! Avoid!

Do not use legal and general to issue the cash back. I took a home insurance policy our in November 2012. Paid the premium in full now February 2014 they have declined the cashback and topcashback will not take it any further. Very disappointed as took the policy as the £50 cash back made it cheaper than rivals. Will not be using legal and general or topcashback again

Bought in August tracked and became payable today 26/02/2014, do say would take 6 months so very happy.

Cashback tracked exactly as described - at £0.00 for about 3 months after purchase, followed by an uplift to the correct high value. Then took around 6-8 weeks to change from confirmed to payable. Seemed like forever, mainly because I could see a nice big wodge of cashback that took ages coming through. Now just moved to payable, so very happy. And the insurance was priced about the same/better than equivelant vendors :-)

another one that has not tracked,and the customary "on ice" delay before chasing(how can that be helpful)it is just not acceptable that one has to chase these promised cashbacks so often,with no explanation as to why it happens,and why it has not been sorted by now.T he last cashback took 2 years to get,lets hope this one is quicker.lol.

Disgusting - don't waste your time with Legal and General, they offer great cashbacks but DO NOT honour them. I have been waiting since April 2013 for my £60 cashback. The last time Topcashback got in touch with me was October 2013 I have sent two nudges since then and have now sent another comment to find out what is going on - Topcashback don't seem to be able to help with getting money for their customers but are still willing to advertise Legal and General offers (re-word SCAMS)

I have just purchased home insurance through this link but After reading the reviews about declined cash-back I followed the link in my payment confirmation email and asked for confirmation that I qualified for the cash-back & M&S voucher, otherwise I would cancel my payment. They have now emailed me and confirmed that I will receive the cash-back as stated. Hope this is helpful and I have kept a copy of the email as proof if I have any problems. Will update my review after 4 months.

I, like quite a few others here have had my claim declined after more than 14 months of messages and nudges. It seems like L&G just fob off any old claim as they can't be bothered to follow it up. On the other hand perhaps it is the TCB site staff that are doing this. I certainly would advise anyone thinking of using L&G to think again and use one of the other more customer focused insurance companies. My loss may be a small change to such a big concern but if word gets around enough they may feel more likely to honour their pledges.

Let me just start by saying I DO NOT rate this 5*****- I just logged this to get my comment published. Firstly I have been waiting since Nov 2012...yes 2012 to receive my cashback. Topcashback have fobbed me off for mths advising that my cashback has been placed on hold, give us another few weeks etc etc etc. Now 14 mths later they come back to me and say L&G have declined the cashback. This is despite the fact I have paid a full years worth of home insurance DD's. Of course I'm not happy and have demanded TCB continue to request. TCB seem to be happy to fob us all off. How can they allow L&G to refuse cashback to customer after customer. Really poor service all round

Topcashback fobbed me off for over 12 mths with this retailer. My cashback tracked as £0 and I asked for this to be followed up. Fobbed off with excuses and advised it was put on hold and then they eventually told me only after I asked again after 14mths that the retailer would not be paying the cashback. Its just false advertising and I've lost all faith in TopCashBack who I used to use ALL the time

Hi, Do not buy your home insurance from this merchant. I bought home insurance from them. They will not pay the cash back as promised. I waited for more than a year to hear that my transaction was declined without further explanation on the reason.

Cashback still not received 9 months on, waiting for claim to be resolved. Would only recommend if they are cheapest without cashback as I have a feeling looking at other comments I will never see my cashback! Won't be going with them when it's time to renew.

Tracked at £0 as expected but now it has vanished and been declined. False advertising, I should have £68 cashback, I took this into account when taking out the policy. DONT DO THIS !!!

Like a lot of people on here I have marked as 5 stars so others can read it. Coming up to 9 months of my policy and still no cashback, tracked at £0.00 then vanished from my account. Topcashback have raised the issue with them after the 6 months cool off period, but still no cashback, and no updates for nearly 3 months. Only the cashback made my L&G policy cheaper than other company's. If cashback is not sorted out before the end of the policy I will be switching insurers.

Did not get cashback. This is a con! I was told to wait 6 months for the cashback and it would track at zero and then would change. Waited six months still not paid. Eventually recorded at zero with no reason given. This company does not pay up. Do not trust this and make a decision on cashback as you will not get it. Now it says I am too late to put a claim in!

3months plus now and still waiting for it to track even at zero ,raised the complaint via cashback. £63.50 should be the cash back plus a £10 voucher. could have got my insurance £20 cheaper but the cashback from l&g made this cheaper if I ever get it . paid in full when I purchased the policy. quick to take your hard earned cash but not to pay...this makes me wonder what would happen if I needed to claim...hmmmmm....
