It takes up to 6 months to receive cashback. Once of the longest periods taken by a company based on previous experience. Still waiting for mine - hopefully it becomes payable.

I have been in contstant contact with TopCashBack regarding this matter, and was told I couldn't claim after the claim was 100 days old!!!! Yet you have to wait 90 days before you can say its a late claim, I was then told they were behind with claims and to wait ... all this meant I went over the 100 days claim period. I have contact both TCB and Morethan and also FSA and am still waiting. Do not use this company!!! I cannot believe that TCB are letting them use their site again when they do not pay up.

Total rubbish. I purchased car insurance in October. Cashback was due in January.....then was put back to 31st March.....and STILL hasn't become payable six months down the line. Don't try to calculate the cost of your car insurance based on what you'll get back from this lot; you probably won't ever see it.

After waiting since June 2009 and being repeatedly fobbed off by Top(no)Cashback for this "scam" of a deal I am taking it to the Trading Standards Dept. I note that TCB has wiped the comments history for last year because of the almighty weight of adverse comments about MoreThan. It may look prettier guys, but you're not fooling us.

Finally -after many, many months the payment is showing as Payable!!!!! But it has taken various emails and nudges and enquiries to get to this point!! Purchase was at the end of last August for joint house & contents insurance and it only now has hit the payable point for £70 -although it should have been £80!!.

HOOORRRRAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!! - after nearly 12 months and god knows how many emails to TCB have just FINALLY received my £68 cashback from Morethan for my car insurance from a policy taken out in May 2009. Like most customers here my Cashback tracked and confirmed quite quickly. Was then informed by TCB "We have received notification of a transaction which seems to match your missing cashback claim and this has been added to your account" so I closed my initial claim. I sat back and waited for my £68. However, over the next few weeks this amount reverted back to 'ZERO'. I chased this with numerous emails to TCB who then re-submitted my claim again in January 2010, but then informed me that "I’m afraid that the merchant has taken the decision to decline your missing commission claim" stating the merchant claimed "The member has used a comparison site in relation to this purchase and may have used a saved or renewal quote. In these situations the other site will be awarded the cashback (referral fee) and this isn't then awarded to the policy purchaser" There seemed to be a lot of 'Its not us - its them' blame culture here, in the end I contacted Morethan directly with quite a severe email telling them what action I would be taking next and 'Hey Presto' - within days the cashback was paid. Must admit I thought I would NEVER see my £68, but obviously perseverance - or strong verbal action has won the day. Also received a call from Morethan customer services checking everything was now OK - they said it wasn't their fault it didn't track properly and also said 'If only you had contacted us earlier we could have sorted it out for you' so to ALL you people who also think they are wasting their time pursuing this I would say DON'T GIVE UP - contact Morethan immediately and personally get THEIR take on YOUR claim. Am now off to spend my cashback - cheers people!

I've complained to TCB about my cashback being zero after 10 months of waiting. I just get a list of unfounded reasons why it MAY not have become payable and that they don't believe that More Than are acting unfairly. So why then are there all these comments from unsatisfied members? I don't believe either that all these seasoned members incorrectly applied for their insurances through TCB by not clearing cookies, going through comparison sites, using saved quotes etc etc.....we've done this successfully too many times for that. Good news is I've just changed the first of three insurances I had with More Than to Aviva (which was a cheaper quote by the way) and will be changing a further two to them. Guess what? they pay out what and when they promise! Thanks Aviva! Bye Bye More Than!!

What a lot of you complainers are forgetting is that if the cashback for, for example, a More Than car insurance policy was paid to you quickly, there would be nothing to stop you then cancelling your policy and taking out a new insurance policy with any insurer - effectively having had a period of free insurance from More Than, or even being paid for it! I took out a £180 car insurance policy in Oct '09, and if you do the maths, the £75 cashback is exactly 5 months worth of free insurance, so it's in More Than's interests not to give TCB (and then you) the money too quickly if they want to remain profitable. Mine initially tracked with a payable date of 31 Dec, but as per the information on the TCB site, More Than have an extended period of confirmation before the transaction will move to being payable. My payable date then moved to today - 31 March '10, but the account now has a note to say that it can't be paid yet as TCB have not received the money from the merchant. Not particularly impressed and not sure the wait is worth me saving £5 over a cheaper ESure policy with a lower cashback, but I'll keep my eye on it over the next few weeks as I'm expecting it soon. Not sure why all the complainers on here are going on about complaining to More Than. Your cashback contract is nothing to do with them, and writing (in some cases) thick, illiterate, and abusive comments doesn't really help your case. There is a simple way to get the money due but I suspect it's lost on some of you!

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!TOOK OUT CAR INSURANCE BACK IN OCTOBER-STILL WAITING FOR 70-75GBP CASHBACK.THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PAID END OF JANUARY AND GOT DEFERRED UNTIL END OF MARCH.NOW PAYMENT HAS BEEN ZEROED OUT.WHAT IS GOING ON?JUST SENT AN ENQUIRY TO TCB FOR THEM TO INVESTIGATE,AND HOPE I CAN GET THIS MATTER SORTED OUT,AS IT IS NOW OVER 100 DAYS OLD.MORE THAN WANT THE BUSINESS,BUT THIS IS JUST UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!!!!!

Avoid More Than at all costs. Although they promise a very nice amount it counts for nothing if you never receive it. Why TCB proceeds to deal with them is anyones guess. I can only assume there is a financial incentive for TCB as they don't seem concerned about there members being mis sold policies and denied cashback. Its also concerning that TCB hasn't appeared to respond to any comments made about this retailer

You can add me to the list as well. Bought a policy in October. Everything tracked ok and was in the confirmed column for a good few months. I have now logged on and it is zeroed out. This is disgraceful and like others I feel I have been mis sold this policy.

Why has my claim with More Than gone to £0? It started off at £120, then dropped down to £60, now its at £0. I really don't understand what this merchant is playing at, i find their treatment disreputable and i will not be using them again. The only reason i went with them initially was the £60 per policy cashback offered, i paid in full for 2 policies, now they won't even honour the agreement they made. I've been incredibly patient, 7 months, with them but it seems they have no conscience. This is mis-selling on a grand scale, no one else would get away with it. If TCB have a contract with MoreThan perhaps they should read the small priint next time :-( DO NOT USE MORE THAN

Don't buy insurance from More Than, you won't see your money for years if at all!!! Why aren't TBC doing something about it. They should be reported to Trading standards for misleading information. !!!!! I will be contacting More Than directly and the owners fo TCB

SNEAKY SNEAKY MORE THAN...I'm another one to add to the list of suckers. Took out car insurance with More Than, £75 tracked since October 09, logged on today to find it finally in the 'Payable' column but as £0.00!!! Reading previous comments on here I can see I'm in for a fight. I follow Martin Lewis's advice (MoneySavingExpert.com), I'll be reporting it on his website aswell as the FSA and Trading Standards. Very annoyed :0(
