have to chase every time
Order a delivery most weeks and every time I have to lodge a missing cash back claim. I find it rarely pays out and when it does it can take many weeks. Hardly worth time and effort.

Failing to track and recent cashback declined
Every time I shop with Sainsbury's through TopCashback I have to raise a claim. Most of the time these go through without issue which must highlight a problem with the tracking on Sainsbury's side. However, since August 2023, cashback being paid has been patchy and most of my recent claims have been declined, despite following the same process. By all means claim the cashback, submit a claim but don't expect it to be paid.

Don't bother - scam tactics
Firstly, your cashback will not track, so you'll have to wait for a week and then lodge a missing cashback claim Then, Sainsbury's requires you to submit the claim with VAT deducted from the amount that you spent. Keep in mind that VAT is different depending on the item, so you'll have to go through your receipt and work out the VAT based on each product. After all this, Sainsbury's will still deny the cashback.

I use Sainsbury's regularly, placing a home delivery order every 10 days.
The first few times I used the site, this worked well. Now however, I end up having to keep email receipts for weeks as they invariably don't track on the TopCashback website and I'm then chasing for my cashback (which they then eventually pay out). I regularly clear my cookies and haven't used money off vouchers not issued by TopCashback, so not sure what the problem is....

Order delivered - money cancelled
I placed a home delivery order, top cash back has processed the amount as pending, then 3 more transactions at £0. The money back was cancelled, messaged the customer serviced team and was sent a generic template, still in the dark as to why it was cancelled, as I didn't return any of my groceries.. ah well.

brilliant cashback on my saver slot
Ive been using sainsburys online shopping for a few years, I like the saver slots because I get a notification just after 11pm to tell me the hour slot. Its the only shop i know that allows to chose if you want a substitution item by item so you are not forced to have something are refuse something you dont want for whatever reason, great for dietry restrictions and not wasting money. The delivery drivers in my area are great and like all shops sometimes they run out of products, it cannot be helped but the sysyem is generally up to date. the cashback is usually quite quick and i have this app installed on my phone and laptop browser so it notifies me if i havent activated it or i can click to check how much i can get from the shop.

FAILS TO TRACK
I can't stand how every single time I shop with Sainsbury's groceries it fails to track. It is annoying having to submit a claim to customer services every time

Go through TopCashback every time.
Doesn't always track, but a claim to TopCashback Customer services usually sorts it. The cashback nearly always pays for my delivery as I chose a Saver Slot.

Refused payout without a reason
I was told my payout had been declined because Sainsburys could not confirm that I had come through from TCB. Which is garbage as I followed the exact same process as I do with all the other offers: I clicked through from TCB, went straight to the website and made my purchase. In my experience they simply do not pay out.

Declined Transactions
I receive cashback from this Retailer on my weekly food shop. I book a slot and then build the basket before the delivery date. The Retailer doesn't seem to be able to link the orders, although the reference number is separate for each one. The outcome of this is the Retailer declines the cashback and it becomes very 'hit and miss' as to what cashback is received.

Dishonesty personified.
Over the last 2 years have had over 16 claims rejected on spurious grounds without any supporting evidence and once confronted via this portal standard response given not the last port of call I always clear my history before I do any business on this portal so I know they are lying and the affiliated company are morally bankrupt and masters of deception. If you want guaranteed payouts use morrisons tesco or asda .

Hit and miss
It's so hit and miss with Sainsbury's, there's no rhyme nor reason as to why some visits get logged and tracked and some don't. Having to continuously chase and report missing cashback is not worth the effort. This is supposed to be an automated service and it's clearly not, I have reported to Top Cashback and they don't seem too bothered to look into it.

Went in website a few times and met the condition for cashback, but rare get paid. May not bother shopping at Sainsbury

Sainsburys has declined x3 cashback claims from November with no explanation, wont be shopping with Sainsburys anymore. The other supermarkets give more cashback anyway.

Becoming a waster of time
I get cashback at the point of order. I had noticed though that rates were very variable, and often changed within days. Now, after 2 months, I get 4 orders declined in the same day. It seems to me that Sainsburys had confused themselves with their ever-changing rates, and now can't be bothered to sort themselves out, it being far easier just to "decline" than to fix. Now cashback rates for existing customers are barely noticeable at 42p (from a peak of £1.91 last November). Every little might help, but not for all the effort needed to raise claims etc to chase this up. Quite disappointed.
