Failed to turn up twice. No apology or explanation - they just rang up after they had missed the delivery slot and asked to reschedule. When they asked to have a third attempt I lost the will to continue and cancelled the order. Less bother to go to the store in person!

I ordered my shopping with Sainsbury's.. 5 months ago? I had to wait that long to claim £5 cashback, And it's still pending! Don't expect fast service :-( BAD SAINSBURYS.

I am very disappointed with Sainsburys. Took an absolute age for 17/12/2009 till today when my cashback suddenly turned to zero which means I get no cashback. There was no problem with my order or my payment they are just rubbish. Will never shop at Sainsburys again. AVOID THIS RETAILER IF YOU WANT CASHBACK.

Terrible service. I ordered a kitchen appliance and paid for 'next day' delivery and took a day off work to receive delivery, but it never arrived. I phoned Sainsbury's Customer Services (which is located in Ireland) and was advised that the courier had been to my house and "put a card through the letterbox as there was no reply". No card had been left and I know from my CCTV security recordings that no-one had been to the door. The customer services adviser told me I could either phone the courier on a premium rate number (!) to re-arrange delivery or cancel the order, so I cancelled it. Sainsbury's then failed to return my payment until they'd found the goods about two weeks later. Meanwhile, I had written to the Director in charge of direct sales at their head office to complain but never received a reply. Morals - don't order from Sainsbury's unless you live next door to their warehouse - and don't expect anyone to answer letters of complaint.
