Cashback finally became payable and I received cashback cheque from Swinton - a long process but happy in the end. I've now taken Swinton contents insurance - the £30 cashback tracked next day so it seems the little hiccup in the new year has been ironed out!

Had to chase a couple of times but finally received payment 4 months after policy was taken out. Cashback will come in very handy but not sure whether I would use retailer again because of hassle involved.

Cashback was tracked reasonably quickly; however, it stayed on pending for a good three months. I checked it today and it has gone straight to payable!

After waiting slightly over the 90 days that they said it would take, I have now received my £40 cheque and my £55 cashback. Always a bit nervy playing the waiting game to see whether the cashback transpires but seems to have been a good transaction, resulting in me only paying £150 for my year's insurance :)

Well, having waited the 3 months since I took out my car insurance, my cashback of £55 became payable today!! Don't give up on Swinton - as long as it has tracked within TOPCASBACK, you will get your money (you just have to be patient).

swinton provided one of the best quotes i could find, via gocompare and moneysupermarket. went to swinton's website via topcashback and earned £55 cashback, plus another £40 cashback using swinton's own promo code. so, £95 off one of the cheapest quotes means £185 fully comp and zero voluntary excess for my ford focus - AMAZING!
this was my first experience with topcashback, and i must admit i was somewhat sceptical, but now i'm delighted!

Yahoo! Some success as today the postman delivered the
£40 additional cashback cheque direct from Swinton. So that's just the £55 cashback via TCB to follow. This is still sitting at "pending" stage despite buying policy 06/02/09 and estimated payable date being 30/04/09. (Only showed as pending after missing cashback claim and 2 nudges). Hopefully the status will change to "confirmed" soon.

This didn't track until chased.
They were meant to pay up at end of April and haven't.
There was a special offer from them that hasn't materialised either.
I do hope that this isn't symptomatic of how they treat claims.
My best advice would be to avoid them as if they were a man wearing Mexican Dancing Hat who suddenly developed a sniffle.
