Despite taking standard precautions, my purchase did not track. A manual claim resulted in payment after about 10 weeks, but lost expected top-up and also 5% bonus for purchases made during Oct–Dec 2014, so overall not too impressive.

This Cashback company is a BIG BIG disappointment! Have waited since 21 June and got monthly updates saying nothing due, I decided to raise a claim/query/ or whatever way Topcashback are meant to help. I put in the merchant and was about to put 21 June only to 'told' as over 100 days cannot do anything. What a rip off The merchant insists they cant help as they don't send money Topcashback do so contact them, yet you can't contact them. The other system of trying to make contact did not allow anything to be done. On top of this they have taken another £5 for Plus membership. 5% extra on nothing is still nothing.

1st attempt last month - Tesco have rejected new contract for Iphone 5c, should have paid £21. I've place a new order for another Iphone 5c, and its tracking at £2, again should be £21. Don't bother with the Cashback, they do good one off deals on new monthly contracts though.

I too had a perfectly valid cashback claim rejected without and reason. Bought the phone 2 years ago, claim was rejected within the last year. Took ages to chase and never materialised.

was due £50 for purchasing anwhite Iphone but failed to track, submitted a claim and rejected and it took them 8 motnhs to tell me was rejected but gave no reasons for not paying. Rubbish, come on Topcashback there are enough negative posts on here for you to sort them out and kick them off the site.

My claim has been declined by Tesco after 11 months. I am appalled that Tesco, with all the money they make, can deny a claim that came through a genuine Topcashback referral. Surely the buyer and Topcashback themselves wouldn't bother to chase it if it was not genuine, so why can they not honour the offer made? This has put me off Tesco Phone Shop for future purchases and I do not recommend them at all.

Bought my Iphone 4s in April 2012 with the promise of £70 cashback. It's now July 2013 and I haven't recieved a penny! Would never use Tesco Phone shop again. False advertising.

didnt track, after a few months i logged a claim. after several more moths it was accepted and appeared on my tracker. Staff in tesco stores are helpful but those supporting the online side are not so. wouldnt use agin online, would go without cashback and go into the store to avoid hassle

I placed my order last year and it did not track. Been sending nudges but still showing as 'waiting for merchant'. Surely it can't take that long?

Rubbish. Ordered T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 on 27 Jun 2012. Didn't track and after claim and much nudging the claim has been rejected: "I’m afraid that the merchant has taken the decision to decline your missing commission claim, no information in helping to clarify as to why this decision has been reached has been provided but we would like to provide some possible reasons…" I believe the statistics for Tesco Phone Shop on this site speak for themselves. Couple this with my poor experience of ordering through Tesco Phone Shop and getting the insurance activated - I will not use the merchant ever again even if they offer the best deal

Update - finally, more than 10 months after going through tesco phone shop, several messages and nudges later, my cashback went from not even pending to payable. Thank you tcb. Tesco phone shop still terrible though.

Bought a galaxy S3 in June 2012, and like a lot of people still awaiting cash back. Cash back never tracked and had to submit a claim, sent of nudges but still left waiting. Would not recommend as a decent cash back partner.

I have no complaints about the service I've received from tesco, however the cashback experience has been nonexistent. I ordered during a special offer, so expected £60 cash back, however this transaction didn't even track. I have since submitted a claim, but have heard nothing in over 4 month.

Poor experience with regards to cash back. Have two outstanding claims and neither have tracked despite lots of chasing on my part. Puts me off using Topcash back though rather than Tesco Phone Shop as the contracts I got were good and the phones themselves I cannot fault.

I purchased my Galaxy S3 phone through Tesco Phone Shop around 6-7 months ago and I chose to go on the O2 network. I am still waiting for so my so called £50 cashback, which I have given up on claiming. More annoying was the fact that Tesco messed the delivery up at the warehouse and it wasn't despatched. I ended up calling customer services numerous times and waited a total of 11 days for a phone which should have arrived in 48 hours.I only bought it online opposed to in the store which had stock, purely because of the cashback offer. Obviously as that hasn't happened, I would suggest simply purchasing it in store and saving the hassle. I have never had any problems with other merchants on Top Cashback apart from Tesco. Sorry Tesco, but I feel let down!

Purchased O2 contract phone in June 2012, chose tesco based on cashback offered and good experience with other tesco departments like direct. Big mistake. Cashback never tracked, been chasing with tcb since purchase, all they can offer is pathetic excuses and a refusal to remove this retailer from site despite all negative reviews. Very disappointed indeed.
