Took out breakdown cover with the AA on the strength of the advertised £21 cashback. They paid just £19 and after more than 2 years of regular reminders since submitting a claim for the balance, the AA have said that they're not paying it and that's that.

23rd October home contents policy purchased, and still awaiting my cashback now although showing as confirmed and each month I am paying by direct debit as agreed. That's 17 weeks wait so far...

We are still waiting for over £19 cash back which was due to be paid at the end of January 2012 and it is now March 2012 - not impressed

It is the 2nd time they do not pay my cash back and I have no reply and any form of further information from both TCB or The AA.
I will not use AA from TCB sadly again!

AA What a joke did everything by the book payment pending then confirmed ...due on Jan 31st etc ... then listed as not paid by retailer ...trying to file to find out reason but no contact details or number for top cash back...never had This issue with RAC via topcashback... conned out of £21.00 !! No response from Topcash back

Purchased in October - transaction pending all this time and now declined. Did everything by the book, still have the policy and yet nothing.
Currently awaiting a response from Topcashback but at this moment in time I will never use either the AA or this website again.

purchased the most expensive full boiler and heating cover at over £300 with the promise of £70 cashback back in October 2011 but this has never tracked and NO cash ???? its now the end of feb2012. Still hasn't tracked still NO cashback......wont use AA again because if I used Homeserve I would of got a better deal ++++Rubbish+++++con...Topcashback should stop advertising the AA cashback promise if they dont deliver that cashback even to one customer

To update you on the situation with your claim, it was submitted to the merchant network on the 02/09/2011 and we now await the outcome of their review, which will hopefully to pay cashback. As i'm sure you can imagine, some networks are faster than others and some can take several months to respond, however rest assured we continue to chase all claims submitted. It should be noted that we haven't received a response for similar claims that were submitted at the same time as yours, just so you are aware there isn't a particular delay with your claim. I would like to mention that our website is really just a middle-man between website shoppers and retailers. We rely completely on the retailers paying commission in order for us to be able to pass this commission (or cashback) on to our members. We would simply go out of business if we had to pass on cashback which we hadn’t received ourselves. It is the retailer who pays out cashback and we pass on all cashback received. Don't buy, it is a con! It tracked immediately, showed £50 cashback for a couple of months, recently visited and it was down to £0. No cashback received, despite meeting all the criteria. Will not buy again.

Yet another company on here not paying out cashback without a fight and loads of patience.
Surely it would be in TopCashback's best interest to remove the estimated pay dates if the companies refuse to stick to them.
I hope this isn't as drawn out as my previous experience with another transaction on here (Talk Mobile. Still waiting 9 months after payment date...)

Same experience as lots of others. Had to manually submit a claim in August, reported as sent to merchant early September, now February and nothing back.

Bought both insurance and breakdown cover from the AA. Insurance bought in August and breakdown cover in October last year. Insurance cashback claim had to be completed manually because it wouldn't track and the payable day for breakdown cover was January 31, but it still not payable. Never again.

It is taking a long time for the AA to pay the cashback. Transaction took place on 7 September 2010 i.e. six months ago, but payment still not received

Initially tracked ok in 'pending' and 'confirmed' columns on TCB, but cashback amount showed as zero when it entered 'payable' column. No explanation from AA or TCB as to why, even though all terms where complied with. So don't rely on this one.
