Why does it always take ruddy ages for AA to cough up?! Top Cashback - you may wish to insert a note stating that it takes x months for them to pay the cashback. Thank you as always for the cashback (even though it's a long hard slog with this merchant), Rob

The Service is excellent (home emergency response and boiler cover). The boiler was serviced within a couple of days of taking out the policy and I had to call them out after 3 weeks to fix a thermostat to which they arrived in 3 hours. However, the £70 cashback tracked quickly but soon became £0 payable. In line with other comments, the AA seem to want the traffic without paying for it!

I thought I should add my experience of cashback with this company.
I made a transaction with the AA through TCB for breakdown cover. The transaction was made on 10th August this year. The transaction quickly tracked but the value of £50 cashback changed to £0. The payout date was due some time ago now and the transaction has since been removed from my transactions screen. I have since put in a claim to TCB who have passed the claim on to the AA. The claim after 4+ weeks is still waiting for a response from the company.
I would apply caution if using the AA, as everything else on TCB, around the period of the transaction tracked.

Cashback tracked immediately but took 5 months to be made payable! I certainly hope that they don't take as long to pay up, should I ever need to make a claim.

why oh why oh why has my purchase in August not even tracked?
This currently is the worst experience i've had with a household name on line.
When renewal comes up i won't be touching this lot with a barge pole,doesn't seem long now until the
renewal is due!
Its a sick joke and i think you need to expose these people as they are abusing the very system that you are relying on to make a living.

I've cancelled my cover the service from aa is so poor. They also inform me that they have never heard of topcashback and have no dealings with them! Enough said!

Despite negative feedback from others, my experience so far has been OK. Cashback tracked within a couple of hours. It's not scheduled to pay out until March so fingers crossed. I have used AA before and not had any problems.

The cashback for this comes from Topcashback and not the AA, as it clearly states,
"Please be aware that the cashback is provided by Top CashBack and not by the AA. If you experience any issues, please use the enquiry system on Top CashBack and do not contact The AA directly."
So why the hold up? Purchased breakdown cover at the end of July, paid in full. Payable date 31st Oct, still waiting.

I bought breakdown cover back in July and I still do not have my cashback. I fully appreciate there is a delay given that people get quotes but then cancel cover but AA have now taken five payments from me - I have paid them now more than what they owe in cashback! V. disappointing.

Overall a very poor experience with this retailer. Purchased my AA cover on 10th February 2011 and have just been told now by TCB that I will be receiving my cashback in the next couple of days! So tell me is 10 months plus a reasonable time to wait for cashback? All credit to TCB who seemed to be quite tenacious in their follow up with AA. I would however expect TCB to be much (much) tougher on companies who don't deliver what they promise i.e ditch them! It sullies your reputation TCB!
Would I use the AA again - tough call!

Its about time this got sorted, BEEN WAITING SINCE AUGUST.Whatever happens now i will never use The AA again,i can't work out if they are being clever in stringing people along or just very inefficient (most likely).
