Very impressed by Thorntons swift delivery, I ordered 14-01-2011, I received goods dispatched email, a.m. 17-01-2011 and goods arrived p.m. 17-01-2011 by normal post. I used code get free box choc's with £15 spend, now look forward to my cash back

Poor service. Late delivery (not due due to the post either!) They just were very slow to process the items. Customer services were very unhelpful. Good quality and value (but many items were replacements?!). Cash back and discount received, was the best bit of the deal really.

The only reason that the customer service fails to get full marks is that I did not get an answer to my query about a delivery. But having said that it was just before Christmas when they are at there busiest. Apart from that one flaw the customer service has been outstanding each time I have contacted them; emails seem to be answered no matter what time of day or night.

i only ordered as there was a good offer on but then the offer never turned up and i had to phone 4 times to get through to customer service, who then said something different to what the terms and conditions of the offer has said. the only reason i even persevered is that the purchase and offer made it good value.

Meant to say that I qualified for the free hamper but found that you have to add this to your basket, even if the code is accepted, as it doesn't automatically do this . This took me a while to figure out ! Also their way of displaying your discount for 3 for 2 deals can be confusing at check out - especially if ordering more than one item, but it all adds up in the end !

Only tracked at 10% - though it did track quickly - advertised delivery 3-5 days ...but getting worried about this given comments above (hope it was only due to the snow!) as I want to post most stuff on again as their own postage charges are very high...also worried now about the condition on arrival. Eeek !

Cashback didn't track (should have been 16%). Chocolates took 8 days to arrive, 2 bags open in transit and loose in box ruined and a personalised advent calendar that had not been personalised. Customer service not good either!
