My experience of having a credit card with American Express is great, but I did have to make a claim for my cashback money from them, and haven't as yet received it.

Took over 6 weeks to get my card. Filled in the direct debit form to pay full amount and they tried to take just the minimum. Applied for a joint card, no response, no card, no nothing. Confusing website. Not sure I'd bother again.

No problem tracking. Card sent promptly but unable to use for first month due to a chip problem that American Express were aware of.However,found them very customer friendly and quick to compensate for inconvenience caused. Well worth it for 5% cashback on card purchases for 3 months plus £27.50 pending for using Topcashback.Winner all round!

Amex made a quick decision on whether to accept us and offer a cracking 5% cashback for 3 months! We also got £27 by ordering the card through topcashback. Definitely a winner!
